Meet Tucci — Our Bald Queen, Named After Stanley Tucci (Because… Just Look at Her)
This is Tucci. She’s a sphynx cat, and yes — she’s naked, she’s dramatic, and she’s absolutely one-of-a-kind. Named after the Stanley Tucci (they really do resemble each other in the best way), she’s ready to find her forever home — but we’re gonna be honest: Tucci is a lot.
She’s not your average cat. She’s not even your average sphynx. Tucci is high-maintenance, sensitive, hilarious, affectionate, sometimes gross, and completely wonderful. But she’s only going to thrive in the right home — so let’s talk.
Tucci’s Daily Needs:
• She needs regular baths (like, weekly) because sphynx cats get greasy. If you skip her bath, you’ll start to notice little body oil stains where she lounges. Trust us.
• Her ears get super waxy, fast. You’ll need to clean them often.
• She needs her nails trimmed regularly and the gunk that builds up around them cleaned too.
• She has a sensitive stomach, like very. If you change her food or treats, she will have diarrhea. And not just any diarrhea — she leaks it. Everywhere. The only way to keep things under control is to keep her on a consistent, carefully managed diet. No exceptions.
Health Stuff You Need to Know:
Tucci has a rare protozoa called Tritrichomonas foetus — it affects her digestive system and will be with her for life. It’s not contagious to humans, but it can flare up if she’s stressed or her routine changes too much. When that happens, she’ll need a special dewormer from the vet. You must be willing to manage this with care and attention — otherwise it’ll be miserable for both of you.
Also, she gets zoomies (those random hyper moments) where she tears around the house like she’s possessed. And she LOVES to climb. Wall-mounted cat shelves? She’s obsessed. She will literally scale your house from floor to ceiling like a bald little mountain goat.
This is not a “chill cat.”
If you’re not ready for regular vet visits, specialty food, ear cleanings, poop management, and a cat that needs you to pay attention — Tucci’s not your girl. No hard feelings.
But if you are up for it, you’re in for something really special. She’s affectionate, curious, full of personality, and truly hilarious. She loves people, loves to cuddle, and will absolutely sleep under the covers with you like a little hot water bottle.
What Tucci Needs in a Home:
• Someone experienced with high-needs or special-needs animals (or ready to seriously learn)
• Financial stability to cover ongoing vet care and her specialty needs
• A calm, consistent household with minimal stress or routine changes
• A sense of humor. You’ll need it.
Tucci isn’t for everyone. She’s a commitment — but she’s also an absolute gem for the right person. If you’re ready to love a high-maintenance, high-reward little weirdling, send us a message. Tucci’s waiting.
