Story
Nobody could have believed the conditions I was living in, neglected and extremely cold indoor climate that I actually grew a patch around the wee tip of my tail...mum says it is cute and it represents my tale to tell, heehee. Luckily, I was rescued by my foster mommy, I was afraid, what was to become of me now, I am only almost 3 years young and petite! 37 minutes later I was placed into a room, a warm room... the entire house was warm! That was my quick untold story of my first couple yrs of my life in a nutshell.
Hi! My foster mommy named me Victoria, meaning "victorious" which she says I am for surviving and escaping the bad conditions and bad treatment I had lived. Now that I have been properly cared for and have learned much, I am ready to move forward. I would love a loving family, to be fair, I think children are adorable but I strongly prefer respectable pups and felines. The strangest thing happened to me, it is called holding in arms, scratches behind the ears, entire neck and base of my back scratches...OH WHAT A FEELING! I love running, climbing, and jumping onto my persons shoulders without announcement, so just preparing you so it's no surprise...it's a sphynx thing for sure! I don't mind letting you know when I disagree with anything but forewarning, my voice is kinda like ah...sassy n' squeaky, my foster parents say it is adorable. I have learned some different yet good feeling things of humans, being held is one, cuddled under the blankie is another, then I was introduced to wet food, I was hesitant at first but WOW! ...so now my diet consists of wet and dry kibbles. Ear cleaning? Uh, if you must, and I am ok with nail trims you just gotta learn how to hold me right when doing so. Baths I am also ok with, I recommend you humm or sing to me while I'm being bathed, so kindly, warm up your vocal cords. I would love to have all this plus more if you'd like, in my forever, loving home. I am fully vaccinated, FIV/FELV Negative, parasite free, and spayed! If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to my foster mommy....
Maribelle is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in Dixon.
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Maribelle please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Elsie at lcd1nonly@gmail.com or 5303207260. If you are unable to reach Elsie please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.
NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
