Mittens is 1.5 years old. Great with other cats and children. We took her in from our son who moved out of state. We have a 100 pound puppy that plays with our cat and wants to play with Mittens, but Mittens is terrified and hides most days. We have had her for about 6 month and she hasn’t adjusted yet.

SIMONE was abandoned, pregnant and showing signs of abuse when she appeared on a neighbor’s deck looking for food. Taken inside, she was terrified of everything. Then she was diagnosed with Stomatitis: painful swelling and sores in the mouth. She’s had a few teeth pulled and has had smelly flare-ups periodically. When her breath turns bad, a steroid shot at the vet takes care of it. This will likely need to be done around four times yearly. Simone needs a quiet home with no children. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. Sara and her best buddy Sophie 2 were surrendered to the Goathouse in the summer of 2023, and at first, they both were very fearful and heartbroken at having lost the only family they’d ever known. Under the patient, loving care of the staff at the Goathouse, both Sophie and Sara have begun to shed some of their shyness, and we hope to find them a wonderful, true forever home where they can live out their golden years.
