Sara and her best buddy Sophie 2 were surrendered to the Goathouse in the summer of 2023, and at first, they both were very fearful and heartbroken at having lost the only family they’d ever known. Under the patient, loving care of the staff at the Goathouse, both Sophie and Sara have begun to shed some of their shyness, and we hope to find them a wonderful, true forever home where they can live out their golden years. SIMONE was abandoned, pregnant and showing signs of abuse when she appeared on a neighbor’s deck looking for food. Taken inside, she was terrified of everything. Then she was diagnosed with Stomatitis: painful swelling and sores in the mouth. She’s had a few teeth pulled and has had smelly flare-ups periodically. When her breath turns bad, a steroid shot at the vet takes care of it. This will likely need to be done around four times yearly. Simone needs a quiet home with no children. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. Leo was born in 2016 in Honolulu. He is a loving and handsome kitty who enjoys cuddling, pets, and basking in the sun. You’ll find him in a sunny spot, on his back, with his legs laid out. He loves to sniff flowers and strawberries. He’s incredibly patient around young children, but prefers his space around rambunctious children. He likes to the freedom to play outside, and sleep inside. He seems most happy on beautiful spring days, watching birds and squirrels. He is laid back and spends most of his days lounging.
