Meet Bubbles Bubbles is a beautiful long-haired Siamese with a soft heart and an even softer purr. She and her siblings were sadly left behind when their owner passed away, spending time outdoors searching for food, shelter, love, and care. Thankfully, Bubbles was rescued and brought into the safety of the rescue, where she’s learning that humans can be kind again. Bubbles loves being held and shows her appreciation with steady, comforting purrs. Sometimes if you approach her too quickly she may hiss, but it’s just her way of saying she’s still rebuilding trust—she truly means no harm. She’s simply afraid of being left outside again. In her foster home, Bubbles shines. She enjoys being carried around by the 9-year-old in the home, loves playing and hanging out with the other cats, and is comfortable around dogs. The resident puppy can get on her nerves sometimes, but she handles it with quiet tolerance. She’s a grazer who prefers to nibble throughout the day rather than eat big meals all at once. Bubbles was previously adopted and returned through no fault of her own. When she came back, she was severely matted, and even small movements caused her pain. Because of this, she is currently partially shaved while her coat heals and grows back—but her beauty and sweet spirit shine through. Bubbles is hoping for a second chance and dreams of finding a loving home where she will never be left behind again. She would love nothing more than to spend Christmas feeling safe, cherished, and truly home. We provide all initial wellness care, including vaccines, deworming, checking for mites etc., for each kitten and cat under our care. Selesta and Her Six Small Miracles Selesta arrived at the shelter with nothing but hope—and a belly full of babies. She was homeless, pregnant, and desperately in need of help. Just as rescuers from Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue arrived to take her to safety, Selesta went into labor right there at the shelter. She gave birth to six tiny miracles before being moved to a quiet foster home, where she and her kittens could rest, grow, and thrive in safety and love. Together, Selesta and her six kittens; girls Sequin, Senova and Sesame and boys Seymour, Seville and Seph are a beautiful symbol of resilience, hope, and love. Each one has a distinct personality and charm, but all share the same gentle, trusting nature that makes this family so special. Whether you are drawn to Selesta’s calm grace or her kittens’ joyful energy, they are all ready to bring warmth, laughter, and love into their forever homes. Selesta (Mama) Selesta is a stunning female Snowshoe Siamese with deep blue eyes, cream and chocolate-colored fur, and white paws that look like soft slippers. She is affectionate, expressive, and loves to “talk,” often chatting when she wants attention or a treat. Despite her difficult past, Selesta remains gentle, trusting, and endlessly sweet. She enjoys batting at crinkly toys, chasing feather wands, and soaking up sunshine from a cozy windowsill. Princess Snowshoe is good with other cats.  She is a sweet shy girl.  She is about 2 years old.  She came to QoL via our ourtreach program that works with the unhoused community.  She was living in the woods with her mom and dad and her dad became sick and the mom made the difficult choice to surrender her.   ##2382499##
