Story
Talk about a show-stealing glamour girl!!! Meet "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" (Chicka), a gorgeous Seal-point snowshoe girl. She is a bit of a diva and can be sassy if you interrupt her or try to make her do something she doesn't want to do (like get in a crate with one or more of her siblings). She's too much of a lady to put up a fight....but she will HISS (to let you know she VERY put-out by the interruption in whatever she had been doing). Once she realizes she is just being held to get scritches, or there is food being put out.....she will do a 180 and be a total sweetheart. She is the most petite of the kittens in her group. They all came from Tennessee but it is not known if they are all true siblings as they lived in a location with over 30 cats. Chicka is a good eater of both wet and dry food and has excellent litter box habits. Come and meet her and you will be enchanted!

These pups are in Fort Collins, Colorado too!

Story
Hi, I’m Sofia! I know, it’s a bit unusual, but I don’t have eyes. I came to Animal Friends Alliance after a rough start with a severe case of conjunctivitis, which led to me needing a double enucleation. But I don’t let it slow me down! I rely on my super senses of smell and sound to navigate the world. When you’re near me, it helps me feel safe if you speak softly and move slowly. Quick movements can startle me, so a calm and gentle approach is best. I’ll often start by sniffing your face to get to know you better. If you sit down slowly on the floor, I’ll come over to “sniff” you out! Once I feel comfortable, I love a gentle head scratch, though I’m still a little hesitant about body pets. I also have lived with other dogs and cats, and with slow introductions we’ll be BFFs. Kids though? Not for me. I have a collection of dog toys in my room. Since I can’t see, if any toys have food, feathers, or fuzz, I might try to nibble on them thinking they’re food, so I prefer my silicone rubber Kong toys. They’re the perfect size for me to play with without accidentally eating them! And I can’t resist bell ball toys (the jingling sounds are so much fun!) I’m looking for an experienced and patient adopter who can provide me with the time and the right environment to thrive. With a little understanding and care, I promise I’ll be well worth the wait!
