Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) Meet Smudge, the ultimate ball of energy and fun! This playful boy is always on the move, chasing his sisters, Tiger Lily and Cupid, or staking his claim on the best toys with an adorable growl. Smudge has a big personality and isn’t afraid of anything, whether it’s batting at another cat’s tail or making sure everyone knows he’s the boss of the tube treats. He insists on holding the treat tube with both paws and devours it faster than anyone—he might even sneak a lick from his sisters’ share if they’re not quick enough! My siblings and I are loud purr machines! When he’s done with his wild adventures, Smudge has a sweet side. He loves being held like a baby and enjoys curling up next to his siblings and human for some downtime. If you’re looking for a fearless, fun-loving, and snuggly companion, Smudge is your guy! ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***Food Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***Post Adoption Support It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process

Story
Hello. I adopted two adorable kittens from a private owner. Their mom is a Snowshoe Siamese, and their dad is a Scottish Fold. Nova and Jinx are now 4.5 months old and incredibly playful. Nova is almost entirely cream-colored, while Jinx has dark features on half of her face. Nova is a cuddly and affectionate cat, while Jinx is more independent and reserved. They haven’t been exposed to dogs or babies, and they are jumpy and wary and take some time to warm up to new people. Jinx has developed a strange habit of nursing on Nova. I’ve been separating her every time I see it happen, but I I’m not there 24/7. They have formed a strong bond with one another and are inseparable. Unfortunately, I have allergies to them and a new schedule that keeps me very busy and prevents me from spending the time they need. ***PLEASE NOTE*** I’m looking to rehome them TOGETHER. They are very closely bonded and I will not separate them. ***Rehoming Fee is $50 each***

5/10/23 birthday Barrett rescued as a small kitten. Has been in foster care and for adoption since a kitten. Hi! My name is Barrett. My foster family calls me Care Bear because I am so sweet and cuddly. I appreciate the little things in life, like amazon boxes and laundry baskets to sit and play in. I am playful but I never play too rough. I am a great companion for families with children, other kitties, and dogs.
