Story
#A5651740 Bandit is a handsome male Snowshoe whose owner surrendered him to the Care Center on September 11. This beautiful boy is big and loveable! Bandit enjoyed his time on the table for his photo debut, with displays of affectionately flopping onto his side and rolling all over the table, only to get up and do it all over again, and again, and again… His slightly crossed eyes are endearing. We don’t know why his owner had to give him up, but we’re certain he is terribly missed. If you are searching for your special feline friend, we think Bandit is the bomb! Bandit is approaching seniorhood and he deserves to spend it in a wonderful home.   Bandit is… 14-years-old Weighs 13 lbs. Neutered Vaccinated Microchipped Ready to go home. This time forever.    For more information, contact volunteer Mary at  mary@unitedhopeforanimals.org ---------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
#A5663690 Noni is a beautiful blue-eyed feline whose owners surrendered her to the Care Center on November 14 because they were moving. Understandably, Noni is confused and nervous, ending up in a shelter environment after coming from possibly the only home she’s ever known. The day of Noni’s photoshoot, she was comforted in the arms of one of our volunteers and just couldn’t get enough. This sweet and sensitive girl needs to find a new and permanent home where she will be loved and cherished forever. Noni is… 3-years-old Weighs 10 lbs. Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped Ready to go home for good!   For more information, contact volunteer Mary at  mary@unitedhopeforanimals.org ---------- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.  This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. Story
Meet Molly, a beautiful, gray and white Snowshoe with round, green eyes and gentle disposition. When Molly was still just a kitten herself, she was abandoned outside to fend for herself. Since she hadn't received any vet care, she got pregnant and delivered 5 kittens. When her babies were around 4 weeks of age, a good samaritan reached out for help and found a foster who's done a great job caring for the precious family. Because Molly had been living on the mean streets, she was very fearful, at first. But with excellent socialization techniques by her foster mom, she's learned how to trust and even has begun to PLAY! Molly LOVES to be pet, scratched and brushed and will need an adopter who'll be able to care for a longer-haired cat. Ideally, we'd like her to be placed in a loving home with one of her remaining kittens: Red or Honda - but we'd be open to a home where she would have a companion cat, in general. You'll find her full rescue journey chronicled in Photo Album #33 on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including video and photo updates on ALL our cats and kittens). Be sure to check out her adoption video and fall in L-O-V-E!! Molly's adoption will include her: * Spay surgery, * De-worming, * FVRCP vaccinations, * Rabies vaccination, * Combo-test (for FIV/FeLV = negative), * Flea and mite treatment (with Revolution), * and Microchipping ~ $150. adoption fee, adoption contract and home check apply / $250 for a pair ~ * Please only contact us if you'll be making this stunning girl a permanent member of your household and will be keeping her safe indoors. ** We do not adopt out kittens or cats where they will be the only pet at home. Kittens rely on each other for emotional support and continued social and behavioral development. For example: another kitten or cat will teach them when they're playing too rough or biting too hard. Plus, cats and kittens get very lonely when you're not at home! Having a playmate will keep them happier, healthier and out of trouble. **We offer a discount when adopting a pair! *** You can also find all our adoptables on our Facebook page: "Save The Leadwell Kitties" (including their rescue story, photos and video updates). Interested in becoming a much-needed foster? Please send us a message with your best contact info, the type of home environment you can provide and, most-importantly, the City in which you live. Thanks!

Story
T-Rex is a distinguished Snowshoe gentleman with mesmerizing blue eyes and a heart as big as his purrs that you'll definitely want to meet. A senior guy, T-Rex is a seasoned snuggle pro who appreciates the finer things in life: warm laps, gentle cuddles, and the company of other feline friends. He does need an experienced cat owner since he does have kidney disease that requires regular fluids and medication. Despite his past, including being found after 3 weeks away from his previous home covered in tar, T-Rex remains an incredibly resilient and affectionate soul. His little snaggle tooth adds character to his friendly demeanor, and his patience knows no bounds, making him an ideal companion for both humans and cats alike. T-Rex may be set in his ways, but that includes a capacity for love and companionship that knows no limits. Could you be the forever home that completes this well-rounded, gentle-hearted cat's quest? He has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV is not a big deal; given proper care and attention, an FIV+ cat will live the same lifespan as an FIV negative cat. The disease is extremely hard to transmit from cat to cat, requiring direct blood contact (typically from a deep puncture wound). It is not transmissable to humans. Click here for a basic FAQ about FIV. If you'd like to read a much more detailed and comprehensive FAQ about FIV, we recommend this site https://resources.bestfriends.org/article/fiv-cats-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-faqs Please contact the foster at manager@KittenRescue.org

Story
Meet Edelweiss, affectionately known as Edie, the sassy yet regal queen of our Sanctuary. With her dilute calico point Siamese coat and crystal blue eyes, she's a supermodel of a cat, exuding elegance and grace. When she's around too many feline companions, she can get overstimulated, but with people, she's an absolute sweetheart. She's cuddly, enjoys being held, and will make you feel like you're the center of her universe. This bougie beauty has also been through a lot. Edie is an FIP survivor. FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) is a serious virus that requires a lot of effort to treat. But thanks to the tireless care she received at Kitten Rescue, Edie kicked FIP to the curb and is ready to take on a new kingdom. She does have food allergies and requires a specialized diet, and she's currently undergoing immunotherapy to help with allergy-related skin issues. That hardly interrupts her ability to rule her world - or to rule yours. Edie will thrive as a single cat, and she prefers a calm environment without small children or other animals. She has been with us for several years, patiently waiting for her forever home where she can reign supreme and receive all the love and attention she deserves. Could you be the devoted soul to give Edie the fine china treatment and make her the queen of your heart? Please contact the foster at manager@KittenRescue.org
