KNOWN WITH CATS: We do not currently know how they are with cats. If that is needed, let us know and we'll work on getting that information! After 9 joyful years together (since she was a puppy) Bella’s human dad passed away and Bella’s family posted her on Facebook Marketplace for free. Thankfully, Muttlove Rescue saw her and rescued her. After 4 months with Mutt Love, Bella found a new loving home. However, this destabilizing experience left Bella with separation anxiety.  Although her current owner loves Bella, they live in DC and lead an active life that involves a lot of traveling and they can no longer provide a stable environment that is suitable for her healing.  Bella is the most loyal and sweet girl who just wants to snooze in her blankets. Because of her separation anxiety Bella would do best in a quiet, experienced, and patient home to address her needs. People who prefer to stay in would enjoy having her. She would do well in a house with another dog (small dog strongly preferred) as she enjoys and finds peace in another dog’s company.  She does not like cats!
