Meet our 3 Little Rascals... Lainey, Hudson and Maizie who were strays that were never claimed. They were found together and we believe they are Pharaoh Hound mixes and about 5 months old. When fully grown they would most likely be around 50 pounds. Even though these may be Pharaoh Hound mixes it is an interesting breed to research. One of the unique features of the breed is the ability to “blush.” When the Pharaoh Hound becomes excited, their ears, nose and even eyes can turn a rosy hue. They even appear to smile! Just look at Hudson's smile! They each have their own personalities and while they are not yet ready for adoption because we are waiting for spays and neuter, if you may be interested you can fill out an application on any of these Little Rascals. They are available for meets. Story
The day I met Malia, on the beach in Puerto Rico, she hopped into my open car door, she got into the car and didn't want to get out! She was determined to be rescued! She was living and surviving with a group of dogs that had obviously been abandoned there. Malia is a good and social dog. She likes affection and to be petted and loved on. She is a dog that would love active people, and who would give her the exercise and daily walks she needs. She has a lot of fun energy and would do great with kids who would play with her or she would love a jogging partner! She loves to play with the water from the hose, Love toys and to chase balls. She is about 2 years old and 45 pounds! Malia completed a training program with a veterinarian in Puerto Rico and did very, very well. He said that she is super smart and knows basic obedience. She is currently enrolled in a Canine Good Citizen class and we are certain she will graduate! If you are looking for a smart, food motivated dog..Malia is your girl! Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
