Story
Meet Russell, this 2 y/o stunning fluffy tiny boy.  Mom is Shih Tzu/Bichon and dad is a chocolate Havanese. He is a NYS owner surrender unable to care for him and his brothers.  Russell is learning changes don't have to be a scary thing.  He loves cuddles and human attention and loves to be carried.  He does well with little dogs and can be nervous and bark at larger dogs.  Russell is now potty trained, is learning to walk on a leash and learning not to mark inside.  He is quiet during the day while his foster mom is working and sleeps in his crate at night.  Russell is a little picky with his snacks but eats his food.  He is learning what toys are and is a little nervous with loud scary noises.  The adoption fee for this sweet boy is $500 to cover all vaccines, grooming, neuter and foster care.  Russell is currently in a foster home while he waits for a new forever home. Please fill out an application to adopt.   ##2283732##

Story
Sweet Mistletoe came into the rescue after being surrendered by a puppy mill breeder in Ohio.  She is 5 year old and weighs about 11lbs.  Mistletoe has learned how wonderful it is to live in a home and that people give you love and affection.  She is finally a little more accepting of the attention. She can still bel nervous around new people, but warms up if she is allowed to approach.  Mistletoe likes to have her person in sight or the other pups. This sweet girl gets scared if people or kids grab at her so older children that can appreciate her boundaries would work best.  Mistletoe takes her cues from her foster pup siblings and has learned to go outside to potty.  She sleeps in her foster's bedroom in her crate with the door open.  It helps her feel comfortable that she can see her fosters. When her fosters' go to work,  Mistletoe has free reign of the house with her foster canine siblings.  She loves to "collect" things in her crate.  Her foster is working on basic commands since she is treat motivated.  Car rides are still a little scary, but she is doing better.  Mistletoe requires a PHYSICAL FENCE and another confident playmate. Her Spay date is 2/18/25. If you are interested in MIstletoe,  please fill out an application on the website.  Her adoption is $400 which goes toward her medical care, spay and her foster care expenses. ##2251819##

Story
Say hello to Bugsy!  He is a 2 year old,  9 pound, handsome fluffy boy.  Mom is Shih Tzu/Bichon mix and dad is a chocolate Havanese. Bugsy is a local owner surrender.  Unfortunately his owner has been having medical issues and is unable to care for him and his brothers.  This little lovebug lives for his snuggles.  He prefers to play with smaller dogs, but cuddles up next to the foster's slightly bigger dogs.  When he gets scared he will dribble urine. Bugsy requires patience meeting new people and with new experiences.  He has not been around cats or small children.  He will need children that can respect his insecurities.  Bugsy needs work on leash training as he never walked on leash before. He loves to run inside a fence and likes to be carried.  His favorites are sqeaky toys and Benebones.  Bugsy does well going outside to the bathroom, and is learning not to mark inside. This little boy is crate trained.  He prefers not to have an audience to eat and takes his time.  The adoption fee for this boy is $500 to cover vaccines and medical care up to adoption, grooming, neuter, and foster care expenses.  Bugsy is currently in a foster home in Syracuse while he waits for a new forever home. Please fill out an application to adopt if you would like to add him to your family.   ##2280449##
