Meet Russell! Russell is an almost 12 year old shihtzu. He is your classic old man, a very lazy guy who can be a bit grumpy, but is harmless (and toothless).    Russell has some senior guy medical issues. He does have a heart murmur that requires 3 pills a day, so he’ll need someone that can afford his medications and keep up with the occasional echocardiogram to check on his heart. He is also a very picky eater with a sensitive stomach, not uncommon of a guy his age, and it’s hard to find things he likes to keep weight on him. He is still underweight.    Despite his quirks, Russell is a sweet gentleman and foster mom loves him to pieces. To his person, he is as loyal as they come. He will follow you everywhere. He doesn’t love cuddles but he loves to stay close to you. He would prefer a low key, quiet home where he can nap without much interruption. He isn’t a good fit for rowdy dogs or small children. Russell doesn’t need much attention but he prefers to be around his person all the time. His perfect situation would be a very relaxed home where his person can be home with him most of the time. He deserves to be loved and adored for all the time he has left.November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Are you looking for a high energy, silly guy to be your shadow? Gerald is your man! He is go-go-go and smooch-smooch-smooch. Loves toys and belly rubs and zoomies with friends. Hard to find his “off” button and could use some work on manners and potty training, but this youthful silly goose on the loose is totally worth it! Gerald is a 6 year old, recently neutered male shih tzu mix. Whatever his mix is, it made him leggy and he has an adorable underbite that makes his bottom canines pop out. He has a few teeth missing, so his tongue is often sticking out just a bit. November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm

Hi. I am a 1 year old tiny, brown and white female Shitsu who comes as a bonded pair with my 2 year old morkie brother, Zeke. You see, we were brought up together and depend on each other. I was originally found wandering the streets of San Antonio when I was a young puppy. Zeke came from a breeder. I am good with all people, including children. I get along well with other small dogs. Not sure about cats or large dogs since foster mom doesn't have either. I love to snuggle and sleep in the bed with my brother and foster mom. I am good on a leash and love chew toys and bones. I am pretty calm but can be a bit of a barker. I like going for car rides. I am kennel trained and do best being kenneled with my brother. I am pee pad trained and am working on potty training. I do the best when I am on a consistent schedule. So, if you have a lap big enough for a pair of lap-loving tiny dogs, we are your guys. Have your peeps contact my peeps and we'll get this love fest started. Adoption fee local in Texas is $700 for the both of them, the out of state fee is $1200, this includes the transport fee for both of them as well as the fuel surcharge.
