Story
There is so much to say about Tommy. He is a tiny 6 pound, 10 month old maltese mix. Nothing stops him. He's always happy and sassy despite his disability. He is 100% puppy pad trained. He loves playing with his foster brother, loves snuggles, and pretty much loves everything to do with being near you. His goose toy is his baby, he will carry it around everywhere. He is terrified of the hairdryer and clippers. He may need some benadryl before getting groomed. Tommy was born into a hoarding situation, and was never treated for badly twisted knee caps that have hindered his ability to walk normally. Surgeons do not think he is a good candidate now. None of this stops him from living a full life and he is learning to use a wheelchair   Tommy's $300 adoption fee includes his neuter, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Story
Fierce is a 3 years old maltese mix who who weighs just 6 pounds. She enjoys sitting in your lap and being carried around. She is currently in a foster home with dogs, cats, and children and does fine with them all. Her name reflects her spirit, not her demeanor, as she is loving to all around her. Fierce does have mobility issues. She gets around fine but does walk a bit wobbly. Fierce was born into a hoarding situation. She was born with twisted back legs, with her kneecaps almost behind her knees. We have been to the surgeon but there does not appear to be a surgical fix. She has a wheelchair and should be able to love a full life without pain. Fierce's $300 adoption fee includes her spay, vaccines, heartworm test and prevention, flea/tick prevention, and microchip registration. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##2185057##
