Story
Otis was adopted by my mother who has passed away. He was at the shelter because he was a part of a hoarding case and spent most of his early years in a cage. My mom was disabled and stayed home with Otis every day. He brought her so much joy and love and he really does thrive in an environment where he is the only animal companion. He has experience being around older cats and has done fine, but we think other small dogs and children are not in the cards for him. We love Otis; we wish we could be the home for Otis. But we have special needs animals of our own, and Otis needs an environment where he is with his “person” as much as possible so he can give them all of his love and attention, and vice-versa! He has a good soul and he is so loyal. He has had a rough life through no fault of his own. We hope that you can be the one to provide him with the loving life he deserves.
