Meet Fairbanks: A Little Gentleman with a Big Heart
Say hello to Fairbanks, a 5-year-old Maltese whose gentle joy will brighten your days and soothe your heart. Weighing just over 7.5 pounds, this delightful little soul carries himself with a charming strut of confidence, a reminder that happiness often comes in the smallest, most joyful packages.
Fairbanks loves his walks and eagerly helps you with his harness, as if to say, " I'm excited, let’s go!!” He’s wonderful with small dogs and travels peacefully in the car, safely buckled in his seatbelt harness, ready for any new adventure.
As a hypoallergenic Maltese, Fairbanks will require regular grooming every 4–6 weeks to maintain his soft coat's health and cleanliness. He recently had a dental cleaning along with his neuter. Fairbanks is now in great health and ready to start a new chapter filled with love and comfort.
Fairbanks would flourish in an adult home where he can enjoy a balance of peaceful indoor companionship and light outdoor activities to keep him mentally and physically stimulated. He loves to tell the squirrels that he's going to get them, but he's all bark, no bite! He’s affectionate without being demanding, a perfect blend of serenity and playfulness as long as you get his walks in and or another compatible playmate.

This dog's adoption fee is $550 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). *All dogs in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care. * All dogs in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble; our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health. .*All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting, including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming. Dogs in need of specialized medicine will be seen by specialists, such as full cardiac workups, ophthalmologist visits, and all suspicious lumps and bumps will be biopsied.
