I'm up to date on all our shots and will be spayed before going into my new home. I'm not housetrained but we're working on it, but I'm crate trained. I am good with other dogs, children and cats. I was surrendered by a backyard breeder. My coat is in poor shape because I was infested with fleas. I was treated for fleas and was dewormed too. I also was groomed. Now I'm ready to find my new forever home, will it be you? Story
Maude has been completely refurbished and is now ready to find a family to love❤️ This oldie but goodie is around 9-10 yrs. and is the sweetest! Maude is currently fostering with a large and small dog. Her little tail began wagging like crazy at the Vet when she saw a young boy, so we think she could live with older respectful kids.Because she was probably an apartment dog, she would do best with someone that is home most of the day to let her out frequently. She is great in the car, and loves to cuddle. When CT Animal House pulled Maude from the shelter she was very thin and missing patches of fur😢 Thanks to lots of TLC by her foster Mom, a much needed spay, and a dental, she is feeling so much better! If you think Maude would fit in well with your lifestyle please fill out an app at ctanimalhouse.org Thanks!

BONDED PAIR, MUST ADOPT BOTH Hi. I'm Bitzee, a 9 y/o golden/white female shitsu. I'm part of a bonded pair with my 13 y/o chi mix Judah Chase. You see, our owner had to go into hospice care and it broke her heart to give us up. She made the rescue lady promise to adopt us together as we have always lived in the same household and don't know any different. My brother and I get along very well and it is kind of like getting 2 for the price of 1. I am currently about 4 pounds overweight ( currently 14 pounds) but foster Mom is diligently working on that with me. Despite being overweight, I am playful and like to go for walks. I had previously lived in an apartment and hadn't been able to get much exercise because of my owner's health. I had been going potty on potty pads but am now learning to go outside through the doggy door. My brother has already mastered the doggy door and I should soon. I like to go for car rides and am kennel trained. I am able to be kept unkenneled without being destructive and am not a huge barker. I am extremely loyal and like to follow my human around. I am good with children and other small dogs. It is unknown as to how I would do with large dogs or cats since foster mom doesn't have either. So, if you are interested in a bonded pair of small dogs, have your peeps contact my peeps and let's get this love fest started. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Pistachio, an adorable 12-pound Shih Tzu mix who was rescued with his friend Chestnut after they were both found on the side of the road in need of help. Pistachio may be a bit shy and timid at first, but he’s incredibly sweet once he feels comfortable. He enjoys playing with other dogs and, thanks to his calm and submissive nature, would likely do well in a home with children.  He can be a little bossy with other dogs, but he corrects easy.   His adoption fee is $300, which includes all his vaccines, microchip, and neuter.  He was born around 10/20/2021.  You can apply for him at www.adoggie4you.org Pistachio is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (OR), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (KY), or along the East Coast for an additional transport fee of $225. Unfortunately, we cannot transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations. Could Pistachio be the sweet companion you’re looking for?Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 4, 2024, 11:07 am

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.If you are not able to view the pictures please email me and I will send them to you.  Sorry for any inconvience. HOTCH is 18 months old and weighs 14 pounds and came in with his sister HILLARY.  They were found on the streets just sitting in the pouring rain and they looked a mess.  Can provide pictures of them found. This brother and sister duo are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together.  HOTCH is the more cuddly with me and likes to just hang out with me on the couch watching TV.  HILLARY is more social and playful with the other dogs in my home.  She is especially close to 2 tiny chihuahua's I have.  They may look a little mean or reserved but they are happy and have come a long way since coming into my home.  They walk very well on a leash without pulling and riding in the car without getting sick.  They love treats, chicken jerky treats! Both are completely healthy and playful but quiet and calm.  If you are interested in adopted them, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you, www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         October 3, 2024, 8:14 am
