NAME:ThelmaSTATS:Female, Silky Terrier, 2 years, 10 lbs.TEMPERAMENT:Shy at first and warms up.Playful, but not overly so.Needs to be WITH ANOTHER dogBonded sisterSKILLSDoing great with potty training.Crate trained.Good with dogs.Likes walks, but not great for hiking.Good with cats but does chase them if runningMORE ABOUT ME:Likes belly rubs.Couch cuddler.Likes walks.Likes playing with other dogs.Suggest training (basic manners). She is somewhat stubborn; but easy to correct behaviorsONE LAST THING:Thelma likes to be her own boss. She likes to cuddle with you on the couch, Sleep in bed with you and loves her walks. If you can not find her in the house, look in the backyard. She likes to Explore and protect her surroundings from squirrels and cats. She is often looking for her sister Louise to play with or snuggle with. She likes to hang out in the office when you work from home. Thelma and Louise like to do zoomies and play together but Thelma can be a little bossy with Louise.Thelma loves her walks but is reactive to other dogs/people. From her behavior, we think she was left in the yard as you really need to make sure she has potty breaks and reward her for doing right. If you miss her cues, she will go inside.Thelma and Louise were left behind when their owner moved away. A nice Rescue lady in Stockton took them in when they saw the owner never came back for them. Sounds like they lived most of their lives in the backyard. Now they are pampered little princesses.December 28, 2024, 3:11 pm

They are bonded so would like to adopt them together. Louise is a Cuddler. She will lay on your lap or next to you on the couch/recliner and will lay in a bed when working in the office. She likes to start the play and zoomies with her sister Thelma. She likes to lay in the sun on a nice warm day in the backyard. She is shy at first but warms up within a day. Louise is very submissive and easy to correct.Louise needs consistent potty training. She will go outside but if you miss the cues, she will go on a potty pad or a Throw rug. She is a little head shy so we have worked on that and she is so much better. She loves her walks with the other dogs but does not like people or dogs coming towards her. Story
No. Dot Com, the peewee Maltese Yorkie mix currently setting the Muttville world afire with dainty adorability, did not get an ear lift. Those highflying beacons of lace-trimmed glamour are natural. Or supernatural. Real for sure. So is her gentility and quiet curiosity. Firm on her feet and friendly to new people, dogs and experiences, she takes it all in with magnanimity - and the intention of using it in poetry she composes whilst sunbathing. She may be a scant 7 lbs, but girl can do the stairs! Nothing left to do but adopt her this instant. Here's some notes from her foster: Dottie (DotCom) is just waiting to become your teeny, bubbly, new best friend! Dot’s favorite things are attention, food and especially people who give her attention and food! This friendly girl is great at reading the room— if you’re up and doing stuff around the house, she’ll be chasing you, running around and paying attention to what you’re doing. If you’re chilling out, watching tv, doing some work… she’ll calmly find a comfy spot near by to take a nap, or sneak in some cuddles. Dottie sleeps through the night, likes other dogs, enjoys car rides, loves being outside going on walks or being carried in a sling. I believe Dottie was trained to use a pee pad as I’ve seen her use the one intended for one of my own dogs multiple times, but I keep her on a schedule and still take her out every few hours. Dot is tiny in size, but has a huge personality- silly, sassy, sweet..mixed with perfect amount of crazy bedhead, you just can’t help falling in love with her! Dottie is going to bring so much love and laughter into your home. I can’t wait until she find the perfect forever family she deserves!

Story
Meet Chauncey, the happiest mutt on the block! He’s got zoomies for days, a wagging tail that never stops, and a smile so bright it could light up the room. Play fetch? YES, PLEASE. Chase squeaky toys? SIGN HIM UP. Chauncey also can turn into the chillest cuddle bug ever. He’ll flop right next to you, let out a happy sigh, and soak up all the love. If you’re looking for a best buddy who can keep up with your fun AND your naps, Chauncey’s your guy! Here's some notes from his foster: The first night Chauncey was feeling anxious and pacing a bit. It’s totally understandable, given his recent surgery and the new environment. But the second night was a total win—once we let him snuggle up in bed with us, he slept soundly all night! Chauncey is an absolute sweetheart—he’s the biggest love bug you could imagine. He adores cuddles and will happily follow you around the house, greeting everyone with a wagging tail. He’s incredibly friendly and adjusts quickly to new people, making friends with everyone he meets. We’ve never seen such a happy, affectionate dog! He gets along great with both men and women and has a nice amount of energy—he handled a 20-minute walk with some light hills like a champ. For having had two major surgeries just days ago, he’s a real trooper! He’s got a great appetite and an even better spirit. His remaining eye has limited visibility, though it’s a little hard to fully assess because of the large cone he’s wearing. We already miss him and can’t wait to pick him up! He’s truly one special dog, and we’re lucky to have him for these few days.

Story
Mr. Little Potato Head! What a great name. To our best knowledge, probably a maltese poodle mix, he's approximately 3 years old and weights about 14 pounds. He is great with people and children. He walks well on a leash but does like to bark at other dogs, but will settle when you correct him. He loves to eat and is very food/treat motivated. He must have had a family before as he settled in with his foster very easily. He does well in car rides and loves his daily walks. Are you ready to incorporate him into your family!? SF Bay Area Adoptions only, please email if interested.
