Meet Oscar – The Big, Fluffy Gentleman Ready for His Forever Home!  Looking for a whole lot of love in one big, fluffy package? Meet Oscar, a truly BIG CAT with an even bigger heart! Weighing in at a mighty 17 pounds, this Siberian mix is as majestic as he is cuddly. With his striking looks and confident demeanor, Oscar could even give a bossy pup a gentle reminder of who’s in charge—if needed, of course. Oscar’s story began in South Carolina, where he and his brother, Felix, were found in a plastic bag in a creek when they were just tiny kittens. A kindhearted young girl rescued them and nursed them through their kittenhood. After 18 months, she sadly abandoned them, leaving these sweet boys at her parents’ home in Tennessee.  Critter Cavalry Rescue got the call to help!  Oscar and Felix are getting the royal treatment they deserve! They’re being neutered, vaccinated, tested, and dewormed to make sure they’re healthy and ready for their forever homes. Oscar is an affectionate, friendly boy who loves people. He hasn’t had much experience with dogs, but he’s open to making new friends as long as they’re kind to him. His good looks and laid-back charm are sure to make him an internet sensation—he’s just that handsome! Oscar is ready to snuggle up in his forever home just in time for Santa to leave a few extra treats and toys under the tree. If you’d like to add this lovable BIG BOY to your family, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com.December 12, 2024, 10:09 pm

Story
Hi! My name is Lous, I am a huge love bug with an adorable little chirp! I enjoy the company of people and other animals. I love to be petted, brushed, and play with string, wand, and catnip toys. I am a great companion, if you are retired or work from home, I will be there to keep your lap warm all day. If you have a busy schedule, I am perfectly content to sit in a sunny window and watch the world go by and nap while waiting for you to come home and tell me about your day. I will keep you company following you around and sit beside you when it's time to rest. Check out this video for how cute it is! (copy-paste this link into a new window) - Lous is so cute!. The Fancy Cats people say my belly is a bit too round and I sort of waddle when I walk, which makes me even more endearing. If you are looking for an affectionate bestie, I'm your guy!  If you would like to see more videos of me and some of my friends (some have been adopted), check out my mom's foster page https://www.instagram.com/shannysfosters/   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Navarre (from the movie Lady Hawk) and his sister Oona are the sweetest pair. Navarre is a snuggle buddy. He very much wants lots of love and attention and is happy to get it from kids as well as adults, and would love to play other cats. He's like a rag doll. He will cuddle up and give biscuits on the inside of your arm. He will even roll over and let you rub his tummy and do air biscuits. The only thing he doesn't like is butt pats. He'll run away if you do. He gets a little squirmy when doing his nails but he lets you do them. He doesn't scratch furniture but loves scratching on the cardboard scratchers. No litter box issues. Oona gets bored of playing a little faster than Navarre which why Navarre would love an additional friend to play with. At the adoption center, he would walk around stretching up to look into the other cages and make friendly chirps at everyone. He would probably enjoy playing and cuddling with dogs; he's definitely interested in making friends with his foster's Corgi.  This bonded pair of Maine Coon mixes live up to the name of gentle giants.  Sweet and friendly, they enjoy playing with people or just chilling.  Their fur is luxuriously soft and has a silky texture that makes them much lower maintenance for grooming than most long haired cats, i.e. brushing is a fun bonding activity vs. a mandatory daily chore. Oona and Navarre are very calm: friendly towards other cats, good with children, and would likely do well with well-behaved dogs. Navarre does not have a dominant personality and would be fine joining a house with an established male cat.  Oona's presence would also help with integration.     If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Oona (fairy from the movie Legend) and her brother Navarre are the sweetest pair.  Oona had to have an eye surgically removed due to an infection when she was a kitten. She is used to her visual impairment and doesn't let it impact her activity at all.  She navigates the world with confidence and grace. She had her name before losing the eye. (Oona.. uno lol) The loss of her eye adds to her sweetness and charm. Looks like she's always winking at you. Oona doesn't put herself forward as much as Navarre but enjoys petting, brushing, and calm play. She gets bored of playing a little faster then Navarre and will then calmly retreat to a nice spot to nap. When she wants love she will follow you and jump up on the bed or the couch and paw at the air and do a type of whisper meow asking you to please pet her. She likes scritches, rubs, and butt pats. No place is off limits for some pets. She does let you pick her up but it's not her favorite. A perfect lady while getting her nails done and even does a bath without much fuss. Her litter box habits are perfect. Oona and Navarre are very calm: friendly towards other cats, good with children, and would likely do well with well-behaved dogs (they aren't bothered by their foster's Corgi).         If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
