Story
Koala is a 6 year old cat who has been in our home since she was a kitten. Koala is a spunky, curious, independent cat. If you win her affection, she will let you pet her head or body, and can be very sweet. We have a 13lb dog and they rarely play together, but mainly they just co-exist in the same space. What’s changed: We brought a baby home and Koala has not been happy. -She pees in her litter box, but she will only poop on the floor. -She gets aggressive from time to time, and it’s made us increasingly more worried -She’s been leery of our guests, and can be mean We brought her to the vet, which is not an easy task, and was cleared of any illnesses. Our lives have changed, but Koala is not happy with those changes, and we believe she will be happier in a different home. It may be time before you gain her trust- lots of treats, brushing and space will help! We want to see her happy and in patient hands.

Story
We adopted KitKat for our son 4 years ago. She quickly made our home her castle and declared herself Queen. She’s a beauty and everyone who comes to visit comments on our beautiful cat. She and our cheweenie enjoyed taunting each other until he passed and then she became lonely. When our son left for college he couldn’t take KitKat with him, even though she had been his emotional support animal. My aging mother moved in with us and can’t tolerate cats so we looked for a foster family to love KitKat. We found a kind lady to foster her for a year but now KitKat needs a forever home. She’s very timid in a new environment and will need some time to adapt (like most cats). She is very much an indoor cat and scared to venture outside. She’s playful- loves to chase string pulled around the house, she’s a little skiddish at times. When she feels safe she’s a good cuddler. Doesn’t love being brushed on her belly and sometimes gets feisty with play biting but never bites hard.
