Story
Do you want to be admired but not have people be all handsy/huggy with you? Me too!!! I am a gorgeous boy who has had a bit of a rough life and that has led me to be suspicious of some people (especially men). I have tried meditating but found that setting boundaries (3 pets on the head and not 4; snuggles only when authorized) is the best way to go. My person who gave me all the love in all the right doses passed away and now I am looking for that purrfect person who understands that I just like company and to be near you and like to be the one making the first move for attention. I am gorgeous, fluffy, entertaining and low energy. I am an easy boy to have around. I do have allergies to dust and such and as such may sneeze some artsy designs upon occasion but it doesn't slow me down and I don't mind if you don't. I was overlooked by people before my last mom because I am FIV+. What does that mean? Not a lot. It is mostly a label. People say that if I get sick I should go to the vet but that is pretty much what you would do with any cat. So if you care about what it means then you can find out more at https://fivcats.com/. I live with other cats and do fine. I just like a nice window, soft bed and person to snuggle next to. And I love my picture taken. If my handsome face makes you smile, then consider letting me make you smile every day and make me part of your family.  If you are interested in adopting Humphrey, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60-75 miles of the Raligh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. DOB is approx 3/22/2018 Adoption fee is $50 ##1111324##

Story
Meet our literary family - Agnes Grey and Branwell and their children Bronte and Jane Eyre. Their story begins dramatically with their being left in a tote container on a person's porch. The kind person took the cats in, but then was targeted for eviction for trying to help the cats. She reached out to rescue and we were able to take this little family in.   Meet Jane Eyre, the epitome of feline grace and charm. With her sleek, medium-haired, panther-like appearance, Jane is both elegant and enchanting. This adventurous kitten revels in playtime with her brother, Bronte, and gets along splendidly with other cats. Her sociable nature extends to children, making her an excellent companion for families.   Jane's curious spirit is matched only by her affectionate heart. She loves to climb and explore but also cherishes quiet moments indulged in cuddles and head scratches, rewarding them with her melodic purrs. One of her endearing quirks is her playful tendency to stick her tongue out, especially while window watching and dreaming up her next escapade. Whether chasing sunbeams or snuggling up on a cozy lap, Jane Eyre brings immense joy and warmth to her surroundings, making her the perfect addition to any loving home.     If you are interested in adopting Jane Eyre, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption. Approx DOB 05/01/2024 Adoption fee is $110.00 ##2308343##

The kind person took the cats in, but then was targeted for eviction for trying to help the cats. She reached out to rescue and we were able to take this little family in. Introducing Bronte, a stunning long-haired kitten with a sleek, panther-like appearance and a tender heart. Though initially cautious, this gentle soul is well worth earning the trust of, especially once you hear his impressive, thunderous purr. Bronte's playful spirit shines when he's frolicking with his sister Jane Eyre. Together, they create a delightful duo full of energy and curiosity. He's a climbing enthusiast and finds endless enjoyment in chasing the elusive red dot of a laser toy. With patience and love, you'll find in Bronte not just a beautiful companion but also a gentle friend who adds warmth and joy to any home.   If you are interested in adopting Bronte, please fill out an adoption application here  https://miasmafia.org/adoption-application You must live within 60 miles of the Raleigh, NC area in order to qualify for adoption.
