Story
APPLY HERE https://is.gd/pawsfor&#226&#128&#139seniorsapp (Application opens in a new browser window.) Rita was one of the kittens that arrived at our rescue, along with her littermates. Her mother is a bluepoint Siamese, but her father is not known. Rita and her sister Beauty were adopted together and enjoyed a happy life with their dads. Unfortunately, when their dad's mother had to move in with them, she brought a larger dog which was not friendly towards the cats. To ensure their safety, they were returned to the rescue. Rita is now 6 years old and has adjusted well to life at the rescue. She loves to be petted on her terms and has a special affinity for men, likely due to growing up with male caregivers. She is current on all of her vaccines, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been microchipped and spayed. Rita is eager for a new beginning and a loving forever home.Paws For Seniors Adoption Process Thank you for your interest in adopting a Paws For Seniors pet. Story
Salem is an older gentleman and is seeking a quiet home where there's not much action. His eyesight is weak and quick movements startled him. He doesn't much enjoy the company of other cats because their quick movements scare him. However he could definetly live with quiet slow senior cats like himself. He is definetly sweet and loves a good snuggle. He does call out to people when he "gets lost" he is older so sometimes we believe he forgets where he is. While he does use the cat box very well, we learned very quickly Salem will pee on plastic bags. We believe his former home used litter box liners and it's what he's used to. He's an excellent cat that is ultimately calm and quiet, and would make a wonderful companion for the right person.
