Story
Roxsi is 7 years old. She is loveable and cuddly. She loves attention and needs it. She is loyal and very smart. She has a sister Emory who is 1 year younger. They both need to be rehomed together. I recently moved and my work life/ balance life has changed. I'm very heartbroken by this and would like to find someone who take both of them and keep in touch with me. They are both precious.

Story
Two-year old Simba was rescued after her special human passed away.  She's very friendly and good with other cats; she's also ok with dogs. Anyone interested in our dogs/cats will be required to fill out an adoption application. We do not adopt to anyone living outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Crystal is a beautiful Blue Point Applehead Siamese, which means her head is round vs what people think of as a "Siamese cat". Crystal is very playful and enjoys all kinds of toys. She is SUPER affectionate and loves human attention. She enjoys being petted and likes being held. She would LOVE a forever home with a person who is home all day. She thrives with love and attention, and has really been enjoying helping her foster mom work from home. Crystal is blind in one eye and she was likely born that way. It doesn't impact her quality of life and there's nothing medically that needs to be done. Crystal does have a history of being in a multi-cat home; however, we do believe she would love to be an only kitty and have all the attention lavished upon her. Crystal ended up in rescue because her owner passed away so she's had a LOT of change in her life lately! Crystal is FIV+. If you're not familiar with FIV, it stands for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). It is a virus that is not transmittable to other species and only spread from cat-to-cat via blood - so deep bite wounds. It does not negatively affect a cat's life or lifespan, nor does it impact their quality of life. It's really important that if an FIV+ cat shows signs of illness, they are taken to the vet immediately as they can take a bit longer to recover. Additionally, when FIV+ cats are taken for yearly check-ups at the vet, it’s important that their teeth are also checked as some FIV+ cats can have above average dental disease. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.November 21, 2024, 10:59 am

Meow! Buford is my name! A charming name for an even more charming boy. That fits me purrfectly. I am a gorgeous chocolate point Siamese with the biggest bright blue eyes you’d ever see! My caretakers think that this makes me just that much cuter. Now enough about my amazing looks, and more about my personality. I am 100% a patient cat who is surely a love bug too. I absolutely LOVE attention and cuddles. I am also very, VERY talkative. If I am not getting attention, I will meow and meow until your attention is on only me. Being close to my people is just the thing I love most. But there is one thing I love more than people, and that is my brother, Kingsley! We are certainly bonded to each other. Wherever he is, I am following right behind, ready for our amazing cuddles! With us being so close, we just can't be separated. This means we must find a home where we are adopted together. Along with this, My brother and I are both special needs. We both have very similar medical needs and issues. When we first came to The Charming Cat Corner, our caretakers noticed that we were having trouble walking. After a vet visit, we were both diagnosed with arthritis, heart murmurs, and I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. But now that we are on medication, walking is 10x easier! I got the unlucky end of the stick, needing more medication compared to my brother. But even though I don’t like my medicine, I sure am a good boy when it is time for me to take it. My brother and I have had a rocky search for our furr-ever home. We have been in and out of homes and shelters all our lives. I really hope that our new family will be our final home. I really want to have a cozy couch to curl up on, with my brother and family by my side of course. That would be my dream come true! Could we be the special boys for you? Meet us today. I am crossing my paws that we are the ones you've been looking for!

Meowdy! Kingsley, that is me! A regal name for a charming kitty; one who is sure to steal your heart! I am a gorgeous chocolate point Siamese with the biggest bright blue eyes you’d ever see! My caretakers think that this makes me just that much cuter. Now enough about my amazing looks, and more about well… ME. So, I will start by saying that I am sure a sweetheart. I am as sweet as pie that is for sure! I love anyone that will give me attention. I'm just a happy, easygoing boy! I do great with kids and adults alike. As long as I get attention, I will be there right by your side. Another thing about me; I LOVE belly rubs. But nothing beats good ol’ head pats. Those are my favorites. I have a brother here at The Charming Cat Corner. His name is Buford. We are 100% two peas in a pod. Wherever he is, I am following not too far behind. We absolutely LOVE each other, thus meaning we must be adopted out together. We are just too close to separate. Along with this, My brother and I are both special needs. Story
**Meet Leonardo ("Leo") - A Playful Siamese Mix Looking for His Forever Home!** Hello, future family! My name's Leonardo, but you can call me "Leo!" I'm a handsome, shy guy who's on the hunt for a cozy home where I can feel safe, loved, and -most importantly- *not rushed*. The humans in charge think I was born around June 2024. I've had a bit of an adventurous start, but luckily my awesome foster mom found me when I needed a soft landing. I'm a super sweet Siamese mix with the prettiest white coat and smoky gray fur that's the perfect backdrop to my big, bright blue eyes. Just *try* not to get lost in them! While I'm still a little shy, I promise I'm a playful (when I think no one is watching), loving boy once I feel comfortable. I get along great with kids, other cats, and I'm even learning to tolerate dogs (we're getting there, one wag at a time). I'm a treat enthusiast, love to be petted, and will happily snuggle up to anyone that lets me. My foster mom says I'm making great progress, but I'll need some time and patience to truly let my awesome self shine. A quiet space to start off in works best for me - I prefer to hide, but I'm told that's not good for me so I need a safe place to take things at my own pace. Since I haven't quite figured out how to socialize to the best of my abilities *yet*, I need a friend to help me out. I need to be adopted with another young cat/kitten or if you have one at home, I'm sure I'd fall in love with them! I don't have an interest in older cats and they don't typically seem to care for me either, so a young friend is best. I'm rambling... but if you're looking for a sweet, beautiful boy who just needs a little extra TLC to blossom, I'm your guy! I'm up to date on all my vaccinations, neutered, and on preventative flea meds. I can't wait to meet you and start our next adventure together... just maybe let me take the first few steps, okay?
