Story
I have two lovely, beautiful cats here, whom we had the good fortune of rescuing as kittens after they were abandoned by their parents. I love these guys so much and it has taken me a while to finally make the decision to re-home them, as it has become more or less apparent that it's probably the best thing for them. We (my brother and I) just can't afford them. We have only been able to feed them dry food, the apartment is too small for them, and we cant even afford to take them to the vet (Smokey has a little patch on her back about the size of a quarter were the fur has stopped growing and there is some sort scab that does not seem to be healing, while Ice Cream has a really small spot of fur that doesn't seem to be growing back on one of her paws). Smokey is about a year old and Ice Cream is about 8 months or so, I think. They are so awesome. I just need someone to give them a loving home and take them to the vet for these minor issues. They are both really funny!!!

Story
Sox was found at around 9 weeks old during the February 2021 freeze in Houston. He was super scared of humans but we still took a chance on him. Eventually he came around after time and patience. He is still very shy around new humans and takes a while to gain trust. We already had a cat before getting him and she was nicer to him when he was a kitten but after about 2 years of having him she became jealous, stopped playing with him and would run him off when he would try to come near our family. This has made him become more isolated with us which he doesn't deserve. Sox will do great with other cats but they would have to accept him and want to play with him since he enjoys their company. Sox is ok with dogs and kids but will do best in a home with no hyper dogs or small toddler children since he gets scared easily. He is very sweet once he earns trust however he is not a lap cat. Sox is quiet and well behaved. He does not get on countertops or go in rooms you do not want him in.

Story
Leo, the playful prince, is a whirlwind of energy. At a year and two months, he was the epitome of youthful exuberance. With his sleek, Siamese coat and piercing blue eyes, he is a sight to behold. Leo is a self-sufficient fellow! He could find his way around the house, knew where to find his food and water, and even used the litter box like a pro. But don't let his independence fool you. Beneath his cool exterior, Leo is a cuddly kitten at heart. He loved nothing more than to curl up on a warm lap, purring contentedly. When he isn't lounging around, Leo was always up for some fun. He'd chase his favorite toy, a feathery wand, around the house, leaping and pouncing with incredible agility. He'd bat at anything that moved, from a dangling shoelace to a buzzing fly. And when he got tired from all the play, he'd collapse into a heap, fast asleep. Leo is a true joy to have around. His playful spirit and affectionate nature brought a smile to everyone's face.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.found abandoned in the HEB parking lotMy name is Skittles and my foster mom found me abandoned in a HEB parking lot one day.  She asked around and people had been feeding me for a couple of years!  Once she caught me, she found out I ws microchipped, but when she located my owners, they had moved...and had left me behind.  So, being a cat, I found my way to HEB and relied on kind humans to feed me.  It took a while for me to trust my foster mom, and I'm still jump if you try to pet me too quickly.  Apparently, I wasn't treated all that great.Anyways, I think I'm ready to trust another human now.  I do get along with cats, but little children would probably make me nervous.  And my foster mom doesn't know about dogs since we don't have any here.  It'd be great if I could have my own family again, but I might take some tender, loving care at first.  Through my foster family, I've found out humans can be good....and a forever home would be awesome!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 4, 2024, 10:45 pm
