Hi, I'm Monkey, an adorable Siamese with gentle and kind soul! Found wandering outside and hungry, I was fed for a year by a nice lady in the area. I was so gentle and affectionate that she took me indoors away from the dangerous outdoors. I'm adjusting well to indoor life, though I can be a bit shy at first. But do not worry, I will soon be rubbing my head against you and wanting cuddles and snuggles. Let me on your lap, and I’ll stay there to relax for hours. Despite my name, I'm not rambunctious or a troublemaker, just a handsome monkey-pie. I'm FIV+, which is passed from cat to cat by deep bite wounds (unfortunate consequence of being in the wild too long). But I'm a gentle and kind soul and get along great with other cats and even small dogs. And now that I'm indoors, I can have a normal lifespan away from the infection risk outdoors. I love to relax and look out the window and hop up nearby or on my favorite humans for pets and cuddles. I will chat from time to time, although I am not chatty like some of my Siamese friends. Bonjour! My name is Fifi and I'm a 5 year old, fully vetted Siamese lynx point kitty. I LOVE the company of other cats, so if you have a kitty that needs a buddy, I'm your girl! In fact, I'm really looking for a home with another friendly feline or two. I also love watching all the goings on outside through my perch at the window. Birds, squirrels, raccoons, I love watching them play and run. I do have a little bit of vision impairment, so I'm a little shy at first, but once I trust you I will find you and ask for all the pets I can get! I have been used to a smaller space so when you take me home I'd like to start out in a smaller area until i feel comfortable enough to explore on my own. REGAL EYE-CANDY  DOB 8/25/22 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Princess, and I’m a sweet, shy, calm, and loving lynx-point Snowshoe/ Siamese mix gal with gorgeous pale blue eyes that’ll melt your heart. I’m pretty stunning “eye candy,” if I do say so myself. I enjoy purring and being petted while I snuggle in Foster Meowmy’s lap. Frankly, I could relax more with my hoomans – maybe even sleep with them -- if I didn’t get so distracted by the resident pets in my foster home. The male of the two cats is a real pest, and all the silly dog wants to do is play with me. So when Foster Meowmy is busy or not around, I entertain myself by playing alone with my toys. I was a teenage momma who was living paw-to-mouth with my son Myles when future Foster Meowmy noticed us in her apartment complex. When she found out that he was in my second litter and that his siblings had died, she said, “Enough is enough!” Myles and I were so grateful that she brought us inside out of the rain and cold and that we could kiss the hardscrabble outdoor life goodbye. Now I’m fixed so I’ll never be in the predicament of an unwanted teenage pregnancy again. So I’m ready for my forever home, and I hope it’s just as calm and quiet as I am. A family with well-behaved children who dote on me or empty-nesters who spend lots of time at home would be perfect because I’d love to be lavished with the hooman attention I crave. She is amazingly trusting and loving. Personality Swifty is so easy-going that she will just walk into your house and settle in instantly, as if she has always lived there. She is so cuddly and affectionate that you won’t lack for lots of kitty love. She lets any stranger pick her right up and hold her, and she doesn’t care about other cats at all. She will go right up and snuggle with your dog too. Swifty has FOMO, overflowing confidence, and isn’t afraid of anything, even feet stepping over her. She is the greeter and makes sure everyone knows she is there, and is always literally right in the middle of the action. Her whole litter is athletic and were nicknamed the ninjas because there was no containing them. None of them has ever met anyone who isn’t her friend. Swifty would be a great first pet, especially for people who love dogs, because her personality is more like a golden retriever than a typical cat! Background Swifty’s litter of 5 kittens and her momma Empanada (a Hemingway cat with extra toes!) were living outdoors in an apartment complex, being fed by residents before she was surrendered to a GNAR foster home. Empanada had been there for many months, long enough to have had more than 1 litter of kittens. Her litter of kittens almost all look just like her, except that they only have the normal number of toes. They all have the same outgoing and confident personality of their mother too. They look like they may be part Abyssinian with their distinctive tabby patterns and reddish brown coloring. Our adult female cat Scarlet, a Snowshoe breed, managed to escape the house one night when she was in heat. She came back the next day and just a few months later gave us five of the most adorable kittens. We'd love to keep them all, but unfortunately that isn't possible. Alice is 3 months old and very playful and curious. While she can be hyper and loves to play, she's also very gentle and loves to sit next to you for a good nap. She has the biggest, roundest eyes of the bunch and knows how to use them to her advantage to get what she wants. If you have young children she is the perfect playmate. She is low maintenance, doesn't make a mess, loves to nap, and loves to have fun. She is potty-trained and not a picky eater (although she loves treats, especially the squeeze packets). We're hoping to find her a loving home as soon as possible because we really do not want to have to give her to a shelter.
