It's easy to see Marshmallow is a darling little kitten bu she needs an understanding home, as just like her outside she's soft inside too and is a quite shy little one. Letting her give your hand a sniff before you pet her is best, as once you do you'll see she loves butt rubs and will purr sweetly for you, but she does need you to take things slow for her. Playtime helps bring her out of her shell, as she adores playing with all types of toys, but especially stick toys. She would do best in a home without young children or cat friendly dogs. She did well with other cats in foster care, and would ideally do well in a home with one of her siblings.*Found outside in a backyard.

I was rescued by a kind lady and brought to my foster mama to be taken to a vet because of my injuries, It took me quite a while to get better and comfortable with my new surroundings. I'm very laid back and really chill. Eventually my mama found out I was good with kittens...I'n the babysitter! I usually have a kitten or two laying on me or next to me. Then one day I started playing with the wand toy alongside the kittens!! I began coming out of my shell and participating from time to time. I probably won't be a lap cat but once I get to trust you, I'm a sweetheart of a cat! ld love to have a forever home - for real this time - and make your family complete. She asked around and people had been feeding me for a couple of years! Once she caught me, she found out I was microchipped, but when she located my owners, they had moved...and had left me behind. So, being a cat, I found my way to HEB and relied on kind humans to feed me. It took a while for me to trust my foster mom, and I'm still jump if you try to pet me too quickly. Apparently, I wasn't treated all that great.Anyways, I think I'm ready to trust another human now. I do get along with cats, but little children would probably make me nervous. And my foster mom doesn't know about dogs since we don't have any here. It'd be great if I could have my own family again, but I might take some tender, loving care at first. I got her when she was a kitten at the end of 2023. I have two dogs and another cat in addition to her. I just can’t do this many animals. I’m going nuts. I don’t know how she’ll do with other cats. She and my old cat wrestle all the time but don’t ever cuddle or anything that would look like they like each other at all. I don’t know how she’ll do with dogs. My dogs scare both of our cats by chasing them down all the time. But, if Birdie has a higher vantage point than them (like from a coffee table), she’ll swat at the dogs and antagonize them.
