Meow! Buford is my name! A charming name for an even more charming boy. That fits me purrfectly. I am a gorgeous chocolate point Siamese with the biggest bright blue eyes you’d ever see! My caretakers think that this makes me just that much cuter. Now enough about my amazing looks, and more about my personality. I am 100% a patient cat who is surely a love bug too. I absolutely LOVE attention and cuddles. I am also very, VERY talkative. If I am not getting attention, I will meow and meow until your attention is on only me. Being close to my people is just the thing I love most. But there is one thing I love more than people, and that is my brother, Kingsley! We are certainly bonded to each other. Wherever he is, I am following right behind, ready for our amazing cuddles! With us being so close, we just can't be separated. This means we must find a home where we are adopted together. Along with this, My brother and I are both special needs. We both have very similar medical needs and issues. When we first came to The Charming Cat Corner, our caretakers noticed that we were having trouble walking. After a vet visit, we were both diagnosed with arthritis, heart murmurs, and I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. But now that we are on medication, walking is 10x easier! I got the unlucky end of the stick, needing more medication compared to my brother. But even though I don’t like my medicine, I sure am a good boy when it is time for me to take it. My brother and I have had a rocky search for our furr-ever home. We have been in and out of homes and shelters all our lives. I really hope that our new family will be our final home. I really want to have a cozy couch to curl up on, with my brother and family by my side of course. That would be my dream come true! Could we be the special boys for you? Meet us today. I am crossing my paws that we are the ones you've been looking for!

Meowdy! Kingsley, that is me! A regal name for a charming kitty; one who is sure to steal your heart! I am a gorgeous chocolate point Siamese with the biggest bright blue eyes you’d ever see! My caretakers think that this makes me just that much cuter. Now enough about my amazing looks, and more about well… ME. So, I will start by saying that I am sure a sweetheart. I am as sweet as pie that is for sure! I love anyone that will give me attention. I'm just a happy, easygoing boy! I do great with kids and adults alike. As long as I get attention, I will be there right by your side. Another thing about me; I LOVE belly rubs. But nothing beats good ol’ head pats. Those are my favorites. I have a brother here at The Charming Cat Corner. His name is Buford. We are 100% two peas in a pod. Wherever he is, I am following not too far behind. We absolutely LOVE each other, thus meaning we must be adopted out together. We are just too close to separate. Along with this, My brother and I are both special needs. We both have very similar needs and issues. When we first came to The Charming Cat Corner, our caretakers noticed that we were having trouble walking. After a vet visit, we were both diagnosed with arthritis, heart murmurs, and my brother with hyperthyroidism. But now that we are on medication, walking is 10x easier! I got the luckier end of the stick, needing less medication than my brother. But even though I don’t like my medicine, I sure am a good boy when it is time for me to take it. My brother and I have had a rocky search for our furr-ever home. We have been in and out of homes and shelters. I really hope that our new family will be here soon. Story
MouseHi! My name is Mouse! My foster mom named me that cuz I was tiny, white and skittish when she got me (I run fast and fit in small spaces too). I’m still the same, just bigger and some of my flame point Siamese side is coming through. I’m better about getting pets, but still skittish. I know I’ll grow to love all of the attention someone has to give me, I just need some patience and one on one attention. I have four siblings and they always steal the focus from me. I’m very sweet and have beautiful blue eyes! I enjoy play time and would love to have my forever home before the end of the year! Story
Apollo is a 1 year old, 10 lb Siamese mix. He loves climbing his cat tower, running, and playing with toys. He even plays fetch! Throw a small, furry looking ball across the room, and he will have the time of his life chasing it down and bringing it back to you. Apollo is an affectionate kitty too. He loves to cuddle with his people and get lots of ear and chin scratches from them. He has met a dog before and had a great time playing with him. He loves to play with other cats too, but he may be too active for more laid-back cats. The first step to meeting Apollo is to submit your application, and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.North Texas Cat Rescue P.O Box 1504 McKinney, TX 75070 214.454.9395 www.northtexascatrescue.com Crystal is a beautiful Blue Point Applehead Siamese, which means her head is round vs what people think of as a "Siamese cat". Crystal is very playful and enjoys all kinds of toys. She is SUPER affectionate and loves human attention. She enjoys being petted and likes being held. She would LOVE a forever home with a person who is home all day. She thrives with love and attention, and has really been enjoying helping her foster mom work from home. Crystal is blind in one eye and she was likely born that way. It doesn't impact her quality of life and there's nothing medically that needs to be done. Crystal does have a history of being in a multi-cat home; however, we do believe she would love to be an only kitty and have all the attention lavished upon her. Crystal ended up in rescue because her owner passed away so she's had a LOT of change in her life lately! Crystal is FIV+. If you're not familiar with FIV, it stands for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). It is a virus that is not transmittable to other species and only spread from cat-to-cat via blood - so deep bite wounds. It does not negatively affect a cat's life or lifespan, nor does it impact their quality of life. It's really important that if an FIV+ cat shows signs of illness, they are taken to the vet immediately as they can take a bit longer to recover. Additionally, when FIV+ cats are taken for yearly check-ups at the vet, it’s important that their teeth are also checked as some FIV+ cats can have above average dental disease. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please contact NTCR AT 214.454.9395 should you have any concerns or questions. Please note: We appreciate all interest in our cats and kittens, but we are an all volunteer organization. Please be patient with regard to a call back. Should you need to surrender the cat you adopted from NTCR, please email us at surrenderNTCRcat@northtexascatrescue.com.November 21, 2024, 10:59 am
