Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI) Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks Foster Care Plan: Drift is currently undergoing treatment for an upper respiratory infection, which is similar to a common cold. There is a possibility that he is contagious to other animals, so we strongly recommend keeping him separated in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until he has fully recovered. He will go home with medication and once his medication is completed he will have a recheck to move forward with surgery/adoption. Lily is such a beautiful young girl, she really loves attention. She was rescued from a colony in June and is about 1 year. She is negative for FeLV/FIV she was spayed, vaccinated and microchipped . Her foster mom says she full of energy but has not had time to see how she would do with her cats so we're unsure about that. She really is such a cute girl

My name is Pappadeax! I was found in the parking lot of a Pappadeux restaurant, just sitting all by myself in the 90 degree heat. A nice lady from Texas Pawprints saw me. She was expecting me to run when she approached me, but I didn’t. Know why? Because I didn’t see her – you see, I’m BLIND. I’m so glad she picked me up though because it was scary being outside all by myself with lots of scary noises around me. My foster meow-my thinks I’ve been blind since birth. It’s a common genetic trait for white kitties like me. Despite not being able to see, I actually get along amazingly well. I listen for meow-my’s footsteps and follow her everywhere. With my heightened sense of smell and touch, I bat around the catnip toy to a point where you’d never know I was blind. I am a fast learner when it comes to navigating new places and even get cranky when someone tries to help me because I know I can do it myself! For the most part though, I am a big purr baby and love to be held and loved….and like most Tortie-siamese kitties, I like to talk. I desperately want to find my furr-ever home but ideally, I need to go somewhere where 1) I will have a companion like a kitty-friendly dog or other young kitten or cat (or human if you are at home a lot). I get lonely when I’m left by myself, so I need someone or something to keep me company and help me navigate my surroundings. and 2) Someplace that is either just 1 story or that doesn’t have stairs or railings that I can climb through. That has happened before and it was really scary and I don’t want it to happen again! Do you have a safe, warm forever home for me? Est DOB: 07/2024 ************************************** Our adoption fees are $125 for one, $200 for 2, and cover the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots, microchip, combo test, deworming, and collar and ID tag. We require our adopters are 21 years old or older, keep the cat inside only (unless on a leash/harness or in a catio), and do not declaw.

Sister of Susie Q Petunia is an adorable and high energy kitten. She and her sister, Susie Q, were born to a feral mama cat and raised together, just the two of them. Once they were old enough to leave mama, they moved into their foster home. Petunia and her sister are expert biscuit makers. She loves to knead her little paws on whatever surface she can grab on to. She LOVES to jump! Her favorite toy is a large “burrito” that she can bunny kick when she gets excited. She has tons of energy and will run around the house all day, ideally with her favorite toy in her mouth. Petunia is adventurous. She’s always ready to play, even when her sister is tired she still wants to wrestle. She will chase her toys for hours! Petunia is very curious and loves attention from her human. While not very snuggly, she loves to climb on people in an effort to play. Both her and her sister will greet their human with loud purrs whenever they approach to show their excitement. They want their human to play with them all the time! Petunia wants to go to her forever home with her dear sister Susie Q. They make a gorgeous pair! They both do well with other cats in the house. Kichi is a 2 year old Siamese with lots of personality. He is the most loving little guy out there and always wants to be pet and sit in someone’s lap. He will follow you around all day as his curiosity seems to be endless. We have had him since he was a kitten and have thoroughly enjoyed watching him grow and develop into the silly and fun little cat he is. Writing this has to be one of the hardest things we have ever had to do. We have a family member who recently had a stroke and needs 24hr care. After talk with family it was decided it would be best if she came to live with us as I am a nurse. Unfortunately she is very allergic to cats and we live in a two bedroom apartment so it doesn't work out for us to keep our beloved Kichi as the space is just too small. We want him to go to the best possible home where he will get all the love, pets, treats, and attention he deserves. His heart is so big and he is so loving and we just want him to have that in return.
