Story
Condor was an incidental finding while trapping at our church colony. No one knew he existed - but fate stepped in one night I was driving through to check the colony and saw him about a block away. I immediately set up a trap and within 10 minutes he was trapped and onto a better life! Condor was a true feral. He was aggressive and had rules we needed to follow. Knowing that the colony could not be returned - I made the decision to keep him and work with him. Everyone told me he was too feral and to put him back and I mean everyone ! But, as with everything you gotta start somewhere! I started giving him churu thru the carrier holes in his cage (he was super scary!) he would growl, lunge, grumble and make it known we’d we were not welcome. Baby steps with churu thru the carrier holes, then with my finger thru the hole, then front carrier … it was a lot of small steps in the right direction!! Eventually I heard PURRING coming from the carrier - it would make imagine my elation!!! The rest is history, he's a feral2friendly graduate! Condor is a very chatty and attention seeking boy! He comes running when you call his name and enjoys being pet and brushed. He is not shy - he solicits for attention and will rub you your legs to say “hey I’m down here” when seeking love! He is well tolerated by other cats and does great this them. Everyone loves Condor - human and kitty alike! He would do better with other cats as he loves their companionship. A Suggested friend for him would be Winoc - they are often found grooming each other ! Adopt this sweetie today! ##1542805##

Story
*** Petfinder Senior Pet Adoption Assistance Grant will cover 6 months of Muppet's arthritis injections and special food!*** Meet Miss Muppet! This sassy, toothless, senior gal is as good as it gets! She came from a really tough situation. A dumped housecat, found freezing and starving back in January was luckily rescued and brought to the city shelter. Weighing in at barely 4lbs, she was skin and bones who needed lots of medical attention and love. The shelter got her all fixed up, and she was scooped up by us to find her forever family! She is a bit grumpy sometimes, but has a one in a million personality and adorableness that makes up for it. She is full of sass! Her pigeon coos for attention and love bites are the best!! Muppet is not the biggest fan of other animals, but she will tolerate them as long as they don’t bother her. She would likely be okay with other senior pets. Since Muppet has no teeth as well as a sensitive belly, she needs to stay on Purina ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach wet food. She gets a monthly injection for arthritis, which has helped her tremendously! Her forever family will need to keep her on her special food and bring her to the vet regularly for her care.

Story
Meet Felix! This reserved boy is estimated to have been born in the winter of 2020 and is seeking his forever home. He's neutered, tested negative, up to date on vaccinations, and ready to settle in to a good life with you. Felix enjoys the company of other cats and loves to receive pets and attention. We are unsure as to how he would do with dogs or children due to lack of exposure but may be fine with both provided a slow introduction was made. Please note: a higher than usual adoption fee will be charged for this cat, and only local adopters from the Delaware Valley will be considered. Smudgey and his sister MInkee were rescued in a field as kittens and socialized. He looks out for his sister. He likes his cheeks & chin rub when petting and allows kisses. He loves playing with toys and batting them around. He is bonded with his sister so we are looking for an experienced cat person to adopt them both if possible. Updated 1/13/23.

Story
Ginger was a pregnant stray who we let into our homes to give birth. For the last 6 months, we have looked after her and her litter, giving them a comfortable home to grow up in and to be with each other. They've all grown up so much and it is time for them to find homes of their own. We are looking for someone to look after her. She mostly keeps to yourself, but does like sleeping either by your feet of by your head. She is a devout mother, a long sleeper, and loves being pet. I'll be posting the litter as well if you are interested in adopting any of her children as well.
