Story
Yoshi was left behind by his previous family and found by a friend of mine. I’ve been fostering Yoshi since July 2024. Yoshi is still a little skittish, especially when people are walking around the house, but he’s starting to get used to it. He is very friendly when it comes to lounging around or watching TV. He loves being pet, especially but scratches and belly rubs. Feather wand toys also help bring him out of his shell. Yoshi does ok living with my other cat who’s a bit mean. I think he’d be great as an only cat or in a house with a cat that’s as friendly and loving as he is.

Story
Look at this gorgeous boy! Calypso (birthdate 2/1/24) is a lilac point tabby Siamese mix with life blue eyes! Calypso us from St Thomas- He and his sister were strays and were taken to the only shelter on the island but were turned away. Fortunately, the caretaker reached out to a new non profit foster based rescue on island who took them in, got them vetted and was able to send Calypso to Pet Search! Calypso is felv/fiv negative, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. He is a little shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and will sit on your lap and purr. Calypso is living in a foster home with both dogs and other cats. He would love to be adooted with his travel companion Mariposa Applications available at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Cat

Story
St Thomas kittens🌴 Brothers from a different mother… Melon (all black) was born to a feral cat on 7/28/24. She was very pregnant and was brought to the VISN Clinic (Virgin Islands Spay and Neuter Clinic) to be spayed when she went into active labor. Donna, one of the VISN volunteers took her home where she delivered 4 kittens later that afternoon. Two of the kittens passed, but the other two, who both have limited eye sight survived and went to live, along with mom, with Brianna and Matt. Melon adopted Mongoose (Siamese) who was found in the engine of a car in St Thomas with suspected spinal injuries and a severe neck wound. He was not expected to survive. However, once his neck wound healed, he was permitted to be with the other kittens and Melon was determined that Mongoose, who was not using his back legs, would be his best buddy and play with him. Mongoose’s legs strengthened and he was able to “wobble walk” and Melon happily chased him around the room. Mongoose is a year old but much smaller than his best bud Melon! Both boys are neutered, microchipped, felv/fiv tested and vaccinated. They are very bonded and will be rehomed together. Melon has limited eye sight but that does not deter him from running g around and playing. Both boys are very affectionate and purr non stop! Pet Search was very happy to have a traveler offer to escort them from St Thomas to Pet Search… thank you Valerie for bringing these wonderful boys back to the mainland so Pet Search could find them the purr-fect family❤️ They will be available soon through Pet Search. They are very bonded and must be adopted together❤️ Applications available at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PAPS/Cat .
