Story
Marshmallow was found wandering the streets of Philly after being kicked outside by a Siamese cat breeder. She is an extremely affectionate but needy girl who wants the attention all on her. She unfortunately does not get along with other kitty cat friends and we expect she will be the same with dogs. PLEASE do not let this scare you away because we have gotten to know this special girl who also deserves a special home of her own who can fit her needs. All she wants to do is sit by your side, on your desk, help you type on your keyboard or nibble at your hands to get your attention. She likes to reach out and grab your leg gently to get your attention & let you know when she wants to be pet. She is truly what you call a spoiled little princess in every way. We think she would do best in a quiet with the occasional guest household who has older respectable kids. She is absolutely a wonderful kitty, we just need to find a home to suit her needs.

Story
SCOTTY is a senior kitty who came to us after his senior owner passed away. He is very resilient for an older cat and we are surprised at how well he made the transition to our busy cat room. Scotty does not love other cats but is coexisting rather well. He is tolerant of non-annoying dogs. Loves people! Love his attention! He has a Siamese voice and is not afraid to use it when he begs for treats. He loves Temptations! Although Scotty appears unhealthy, with some fatty blimps and saggy belly, his blood work looks good for a cat his age. His coat is beautiful going from jet black to dark mahogany. We would love to get Scotty into a home where he is once again the apple of someone's eye. Do you have room in your home and heart for Scotty? Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org. Scotty is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for leukemia/FIV. Adoption $75October 26, 2025, 8:12 pm

Story
Lana is a beautiful Siamese Golden Girl who came to us when her person passed away. She is currently receiving lots of TLC in her foster home and would love to find a soft place to land. If you would consider opening your heart to a distinguished senior lady, please reach out to wcfoster@bvspca.org. Because Lana is an older kitty, she qualifies for the Sponsored by Simba Program: Seniors for Seniors and can be adopted by any Senior 65 and up or any military veteran with no adoption fee.

Story
My family had a cat pass away from cancer at 13 years old, we were heartbroken but waited a year to get another cat. We have a resident who we have had since she was a kitten and she is getting old her current age is 13. The cat that passed away was our dog's best friend and he was lonely so we got a cat from the SPCA. The people at the SPCA told us that the people who brought him said he was trying to get in their house so they brought to the SPCA. The SPCS told me he is good with other cats, he is not. So for the past two years we have to keep the cats separated from each other by placing one cat in a room for a while and the other cat roams the house and then we will switch them around which is terrible stressful on us and the cats. We do not want to rehome him but we feel we have no choice. We want him to get to go to a loving home and not be thrown outside. He has never harmed us or our grandson or the dog he just needs to be the only cat.

Story
Sparrow was living outside of someone's townhouse with her 4 four week old kittens and a 6-month-old kitten from her previous litter. Apparently the person that rented the townhouse previously just left her behind when they moved away. The new tenant was being told that she could not have the cats out there and she didn't know what to do, so she contacted us. We went and got all but three of the kittens (because someone else had went and grabbed them before we got there) and brought them inside. Mom then the older kitten Charlie, have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies, flea and worm treated and are negative for feline leukemia and AIDS. Sparrow has been a great mom and is nice but is still a little unsure of people after being abandoned like she was the poor thing. She will need a little TLC to feel comfortable and yet another new place.
