Story
Hi, my name is Louie Blue! I’m available for adoption and will be ready to go home once I get neutered! Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. If I sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats?Yes, I have lived with other cats and will likely do well after a proper introduction. What do you think about living with a dog?I have not lived with a dog before and likely would be afraid of a dog.How do you feel about kids?I have not lived with kids but may do well with calm, cat-savvy kids. What was your previous home like?In my previous home I lived with other cats and lived only indoor, although I have shown interest in being outdoors and am young enough that I will likely be able to adjust to being an indoor/outdoor cat. What’s your ideal home like?My ideal home would be a calm environment with people who will have plenty of patience and love to give.Is there anything else we should know about you? I am a beautiful boy who would love to meet you. Please ask staff about my medical release.

Story
Hippo is available for adoption and is looking for a safe Working Cat Home (such as a barn or warehouse). They will be ready to go home once they`ve been spayed/neutered. They are not socialized to humans but are unable to return to where they originally came from so they are seeking a home where they are not expected to be a house cat, but will have a caregiver to count on for daily food, water, protection from the elements and veterinary care. When possible, it is highly recommended that they be adopted with at least one other Working Barn cat so that they have a companion. After a short period of secure confinement, the cats should accept their new home and will likely help keep rodents away.Prior to adoption, they will have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given flea treatment.

I’m available for adoption and I will be ready to go home once I`ve been spayed/neutered! Please read the questions and answers below to learn more about me. If I sound like a good fit, come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me!Do you like other cats? I previously lived with a lot of other cats and would likely do well with another cat after a slow introduction period. What do you think about living with a dog? I have no known history with dogs. I might do well with a dog after a slow introduction period. How do you feel about kids? I previously lived with children and I`d likely do well with other kids but I`d like to meet any kids before going to live with them. What was your previous home like? I lived with 31 other cats in a 3 bedroom home and I might have had access outside. What’s your ideal home like? One where I can receive lots of love and attention with people who have plenty of time to play with me. I might have had access outside in my previous home but could likely adjust to living indoors only if I`m provided with enough entertainment and stimulation inside. Is there anything else we should know about you? I am super cute and very sweet! Please ask about my medical release. Greenhill Humane Society assisted Springfield Animal Control with response to an abandonment/neglect hoarding situation in January 2025 where they removed 31 felines from filthy and inadequate living conditions. Now that the cats have received care and a veterinary exam they are ready for adoption! These cats have always lived together and really enjoy being together, so if you adopt two of these felines together we are offering $20 off each cat’s adoption (working barn cats not included).

Story
Hi, I'm Phoenix. I'm a super sweet and gentle Flame Point Siamese gentleman. I'm kind of a big chicken in new situations but I love to be petted and I have a great big purr. I'm very spry for my age. I have a skin allergy and need to eat a prescription food. I'm also currently getting some medication to help with my allergy but it could just be temporary. I had a dental with 11 teeth removed in September. I do well with other cats who are calm. I probably wouldn't like a dog. I'm looking for a quiet loving home to spend my golden years. My birthdate is 9/9/2011.
