Story
Suzy, the elegant Siamese with striking blue eyes, captivates everyone she meets. Her sleek coat and soft purrs, along with her gentle, cuddly nature, make her the warm heart of her home. She adores curling up beside her human, offering endless companionship and affection. Whenever other cats come around, Suzy welcomes them graciously, showing her big-hearted and calm spirit. Now, at nine years old, Suzy is up for adoption. Her human is moving to a place where no pets are allowed, and while parting with her is bittersweet, they know she deserves a new home filled with the same love she’s always given. With her enchanting blue eyes and nurturing spirit, Suzy is ready for this new chapter—a place with another family who will treasure her for the remarkable, cuddly friend she is.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.AKINA hails from the Northern community of Sandy Lake and she came south to find her forever family. She’s spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and been deemed a healthy girl by her vet. When she came to us her fur was extremely matted to the point we had her body shaved. Right now she looks a bit like a lion as she has a shaved body but a fluffy mane, face, legs and tail. Even being shaved like that she still looks super cute. She’s a super friendly girl who loves her humans and to get lots of loving. She’ll sit in your lap and purr like crazy while she gets lots of snuggles.  AKINA’s litter box trained and she has been since first going to her foster home. She loves being adventurous and exploring all the nooks and crannies she can find. She enjoys playing with all sorts of toys but chasing a ball is one of her favourite past times. She also enjoys sitting in the cat tree and looking out the window at all the wildlife outside. AKINA will need regular grooming including combing of her fur so she’s looking for an owner who will be dedicated to doing this to keep her knot free. She’s fostered with another cat and a kitten and at first there was a lot of hissing going on but it didn’t take long before they became friends and she was even caught sharing her dish of food with the kitten. She would suit a home with another cat who has been around other cats but she would also do well as an only cat as long as she isn’t left alone for long periods of time. She has dogs and puppies in her foster home and she does well with them but at first once again. there was a lot of hissing going on but it wasn’t long before she decided they weren’t so bad after all. She should only go to a home with a dog if it’s cat savvy one and a slow, monitored introduction is done. Children should be age 6 and up plus be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.  If AKINA sounds like she would suit you and your family then please submit an adoption application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 3, 2024, 11:18 pm

Story
Microchipped, DOB: August 5, 2013 Say hello to Minoune, who brings warmth and joy wherever she goes! This sweet girl is a master cuddler, and her favorite spot is right on your belly when you lay on your back. She adores sitting on laps and loves being pampered with gentle pets, especially under her chin. Minoune recently had some teeth removed but has healed beautifully and has had no issues since. With her soft, timid meow, she’s a gentle soul who does get the occasional zoomies session. When it comes to nighttime, she’s a quiet companion who won’t disturb your beauty sleep. This lovely lady is also a perfect pet to leave at home while you’re at work. She’s consistently used her litter box and enjoys scratching her cat scratching post, keeping her playful spirit alive. Minoune has a taste for delicious wet food and is great about staying hydrated with her water dish. Playtime is a must for her, especially when it involves wand toys and her favourite catnip toys! Minoune is bonded with her brother, Ti-pi, and they’ve been inseparable for the past 8-9 years. Their bond is truly special; she often shows her affection by grooming him, proving that she has a heart as big as her cuddles! If you’re searching for a couple of sweet, affectionate companions who loves to snuggle and play, Minoune and Ti-pi could be the perfect addition to your home! Thank you for giving two best friends a loving home together! An adoption fee of your choice is appreciated for each of these seniors, vs. our standard adoption fee of $200 per adult cat.
