Story
Meet Obsidian, the sleek and stunning black kitten who’s as spicy as she is smart! With a cautious demeanor around new faces, Obsidian takes her time to warm up but is well worth the patience. Her energetic spirit is a sight to behold—she's always on the move, ready for a wrestling match or an adventurous hunt. Obsidian’s heart belongs to her fellow felines. She adores snuggling and wrestling with her cat companions, and despite her initial hisses and reluctance to be touched, she’s beginning to show her softer side. She might not admit it, but those ear scratches are starting to win her over, especially when treats are involved! This feisty little fighter is a vocal dynamo who knows how to make her presence known. If you’re looking for a strong, spirited kitten with a hint of mystery and a whole lot of charm, Obsidian just might be your perfect match. Interested in adopting Obsidian or one of our other wonderful kitties? Please visit www.VivaLosGatosCatRescue.org and complete our no-obligation, online adoption application from any PC or mobile device. Viva Los Gatos is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and adopts to residents of Northeast Ohio. Adoptions to residents outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis. Story
Scooby is a siamese manx kitten with a diva attitudeTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html  Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Scooby, male, neutered Flame point Siamese/Manx mix DOB: July 31, 2024 Scooby, Shaggy, and Daphne are Siamese-mix kittens born to Marigold, a beautiful 9-month-old orange tabby mama. Marigold was scheduled to be euthanized in a kill shelter because she was pregnant. Through social media networking, Marigold traveled 6 hours to a foster home with a house of mews, where she gave birth 6 hours later, at midnight on July 31, 2024. The kittens were born prematurely. Marigold and her kittens are now healthy and ready for their forever home.  Scooby looks like a Flame Point Siamese/Manx kitten mix with pale blue eyes.  He was born with a tiny orange stub as the tail.  He carries a sad “Poss in Boots” look, enabling him to get anything he wants from his foster humans.  He is the most independent one in the litter, a diva, and a drama king.  He whines the loudest when meals are not served on time.  He is headstrong and gives affection on his terms.  Like a typical Siamese, he is energetic, vocal, curious, and can be boisterous, demanding attention and playtime.  He must be adopted in pairs, with their mama, or into a home with a young, friendly cat to keep them company.  He will do best with a family who is familiar with and appreciate the unique personality of Siamese cats.  Scooby and Shaggy are a bonded pair, they must be adopted together.   Foster:  CCLDecember 19, 2024, 12:15 pm

Marigold and her kittens are now healthy and ready for their forever home.  Shaggy looks like a classical Flame Point Siamese with pale blue eyes, orange ears, and an orange-striped tail.  He carries many of the typical personalities of a Siamese kitten: playful, energetic, and cuddly when he wishes, but he is easily distracted by anything that moves.  He demands human attention and playtime and can be mischievous at times.  Like his brother Scooby, Shaggy is curious and may get into trouble when bored.

Story
Cortland is an active playful kittenTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html  Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Cortland Est DOB: 8/31/2024 Male, DSH, neutered Not good wtih young children Cortland and his sister Macintosh, the two survivors in a litter of six, came to HOM as malnourished and sick kittens.  After a rocky start, these siblings have blossomed into happy, rambunctious, affectionate, and playful little darlings.  Their strong-willed, determined, and curious personalities make them truly intriguing.  They are now looking for a family who will adopt them together and embrace their unique traits.  THEY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. Cortland has a type A personality.  He is very sweet and affectionate with humans.  He loves to be held and receive full-body pettings.  His eye color is a pale lavender shade rather than the typical blue in Siamese cats.  He will dominate any situation and strive to be the center of attention.  He is very close to his sister, and if separated from her, Cortland will cry continuously until he is held by a human or reunited with his sister.  Cortland is a very good eater.  Until he figured out that there would always be food, Cortland laid his entire body on the bowl to protect his food while eating.  Nevertheless, he and his sister must still be fed in separate bowls.      Foster:  CCLDecember 18, 2024, 12:59 pm

Story
If you're ready to welcome a regal beauty into your life, look no further than 2 year old Pip, a striking seal point Siamese with mesmerizing crystal blue eyes that will captivate you from the moment you meet her. She was transferred to ARF in November from an overcrowded shelter. We were not able to list her as being available for adoption until just recently because we needed to wait for her turn to be spayed. Now that she has been, she has been cleared to go home with a very lucky adopter! Please note: Pip has a special adoption fee of $200. She has been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
