Story
Hi!  My name is Tanner.  Everyone calls me Honky though.  My foster mom says my meow is pretty special like the rest of me 💗   I have blue cross-eyes, and my eyelid has a birth defect called eyelid ectropia.  I have to use fake tears because it doesn't shut quite right and my eye gets pretty dry.  I don't like getting the drops tho 😏.  I'm a really good snuggle buddy, and my foster mom says I'm the bestest boy.  I'm very talkative.  My foster mom is still learning all my habits and things I like to do because I was in quarantine for a while.  I had the run,  and no one could figure it out.   Turns out i have a coronavirus.  I'll have it for the rest of my life, and I'll never have a normal poo.    The vet says it's manageable, and I'll be able to have a normal life.   I'm still getting used to my foster dog and cat siblings since I was stuck in quarantine for a long time.   I'm really good about using my litter box, and if I do have an oopsie, it's right by the litter box.  My foster mom says my new family will be lucky people because even though I have some special needs, I really am the bestest boy. Apply at www.ldrofohio.org

Story
Meet Lacey! Lacey is a female 8 month old kitten who is FIV+. FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with the right care. They are auto immune deficient so annual vaccines, exams, and quality foods are recommended. FIV+ cats can live amongst none positive cats. It is only transmitted through mating and extreme, extreme puncture wounds. If you have other cats, it would be necessary for them to be altered and have demeanors that welcome other cats. Lacey is extremely cat friendly. She loves her cat companions and has never posed a threat to any of them. Lacey was found outside at roughly 6 months old where a nice family trapped her and we got her vetted and took over care. Since having Lacey, she is nothing but a pleasure. She’s so friendly, talkative and loving. She follows you everywhere you go, loves to snuggle in your lap, and insists on having any attention you can give her. She’s not a very skittish cat, she’s quite confident but does take a few days to warm up. Lacey loves all kinds of toys and scratching posts. She’s constantly playing and is great at keeping herself entertained, but would also enjoy a friend to keep her busy! Her favorite time of day is wet food time! She has it for dinner every night and loses her mind for it. She meows the whole time until she’s fed and then when she gets her food she wastes no time diving in! If you’re interested in giving Lacey a forever home, submit an application at www.cassidyscritters.com and someone will be in touch shortly!

Story
Please contact Jamie (jamie@pawsandprayers.org) for more information about this pet. Meet Bunker! Bunker is a 6-8 month old Siamese kitten. Bunker came to Paws and Prayers as a baby and started off as a medical mystery. Bunker seemed to get re-occurring ear infections and polyps which resulted in him needing multiple surgeries. Bunker is finally healed with his final surgery. He is pretty normal, but does have some residual neurological symptoms. Bunker will have a head tilt for the remainder of his life and sometimes walks in circles. Other than this, he is a normal cat. Like a true Siamese, he is vocal. Bunker requires a grain free diet.  We are looking for an experienced cat owner for Bunker’s new family.   Bunker’s adoption fee is $150.  Paws and Prayers Cats are spay/neuter, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litterbox trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible.  Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions.    Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only. November 11, 2024, 4:55 pm

Extra extra sweet boy! It was hard to even get a good picture of him because he wanted to be right by my side, rubbing up against me for petting. Cherub is FIV positive, but FELV negative. FIV positive cats can live full healthy lives right alongside FIV negative cats and this boy will be their best buddy!

Story
Meet Obsidian, the sleek and stunning black kitten who’s as spicy as she is smart! With a cautious demeanor around new faces, Obsidian takes her time to warm up but is well worth the patience. Her energetic spirit is a sight to behold—she's always on the move, ready for a wrestling match or an adventurous hunt. Obsidian’s heart belongs to her fellow felines. She adores snuggling and wrestling with her cat companions, and despite her initial hisses and reluctance to be touched, she’s beginning to show her softer side. She might not admit it, but those ear scratches are starting to win her over, especially when treats are involved! This feisty little fighter is a vocal dynamo who knows how to make her presence known. If you’re looking for a strong, spirited kitten with a hint of mystery and a whole lot of charm, Obsidian just might be your perfect match. Interested in adopting Obsidian or one of our other wonderful kitties? Please visit www.VivaLosGatosCatRescue.org and complete our no-obligation, online adoption application from any PC or mobile device. Viva Los Gatos is based in Cleveland, Ohio, and adopts to residents of Northeast Ohio. Adoptions to residents outside this area are considered on a case-by-case basis.
