Story
Oda is a beautiful adult Siamese Flame point girl. She is very outgoing and super loving. She craves human affection and wants nothing more than to be loved on. She's been fully vetted and cleared by our vet. She does have feline asthma which causes her to wheeze when she breathes. She also had her right eye removed due to infection, but she doesn't let that slow her down! Our vet estimates Oda at about 5 years young. Included with the adoption is the kitty's spay, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period and a 2-week wellness guarantee, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! To apply to adopt, please complete an adoption inquiry at www.bluesmews.org so our adoption specialist volunteer can review it and contact you!

Story
** Courtesy Post! See bottom of info for important information** Meet beautiful Summer!! Summer loves to eat, especially wet food. She’s very vocal and will meow at you when she wants attention. She respond to her name. She’s very motherly and loves giving other cats baths. She's spayed, and current on her rabies shot. She loves the other kitties in her house, and does fine around the dogs. With proper, slow introductions, she ought to be fine with calmer dogs. She is not overly fond of the toddler in her current home (a bit too much commotion for her liking!) but older, calmer kids should be just fine with Summer. She's looking for a home where she can snuggle and lounge like the royal goddess she is! For more information or to adopt this sweet lady, please TEXT Dana directly at (248) 978-6854. PLEASE NOTE, Summer is currently located in the state of Delaware! *Courtesy Post - text Dana directly if you're interested in adopting Summer.*

Story
We need a very special home for a very special boy...meet Qing! Qing is a very sweet young boy, and what he lacks in legs he makes up for in endless love! He was found as a stray, dragging behind him an entirely useless leg. It was promptly amputated, and he has adjusted well to the 3-legged life. He is looking for his forever home, but exactly how long "forever" is remains uncertain for him - along the way, we discovered that Qing is positive for Feline Leukemia, a virus that runs a completely unpredictable course. The only thing we can say for certain is that he is *progressively* infected. A progressive FeLV infection means that he is more likely to become ill at some point. But Qing is a lover boy like you've never seen. He is an expert biscuit maker and loves belly rubs and chin scritches. He's got such a zest for life and loves crash landing into his various toys. When you adopt Qing, you will receive a wonderfully socialized gentleman who comes neutered and fully vaccinated, and you will also receive his special mouse that he continuously loses underneath things, and then cries for help after. Adopting Qing is a commitment to however long he may or may not have, and a commitment to always helping him find his mousey. Qing will need to go to an only cat household, or a household with other FeLV+ cats. We also cannot state whether or not he is okay with other cats, or dogs. Although his foster home has both, he cannot interact with the rest of that household as FeLV spreads easily via saliva. He’s just the sweetest baby. He would be wonderful for someone who really needs a buddy. He would be perfectly content to sit on the couch or the bed or at the table with someone and hang out all day Included with the adoption is the kitty's neuter, all current-due vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping. In addition to being fully vetted, our cats and kittens are highly socialized. We offer a 2-week getting acquainted period, so you can comfortably settle in with your new kitty! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet TJ (formerly known as Freddie Mercury), a gentle soul with eyes that tell a thousand stories and a heart big enough to love the whole world. This precious boy's journey hasn't always been easy, but his spirit shines brighter than ever. In 2022, TJ found what he thought would be his forever home, where he shared countless cuddles and quiet moments with his beloved human. When his owner passed away last July, our sweet boy experienced a loss that no furry friend should have to face alone. But as they say, angels come in many forms – and for TJ, it was his owner's caring home health aide who made sure he wouldn't spend a single night without love. Now, this adorable love bug is ready to write his next chapter – and oh, what a story it could be! Don't let his lack of teeth fool you – TJ is a master snuggler and professional heart-stealer who never meets a human he doesn't adore (kids included)! He's come so far in his healing journey, with his once-patchy fur now growing back into a gorgeous coat. He will need to be in a home where he is the one and only cat (he does well with cat-friendly dogs). We're looking for that special someone who will treasure this sweet boy and give him the loving retirement home he deserves – a place where he can spend his golden years being spoiled with chin scratches, gentle pets, and all the love his tender heart can hold. After all, some of life's greatest love stories start with a second chance. Could you be TJ's happily ever after?

Story
Male 10 years old. Strong, healthy, and neutered. Indoor/outdoor. Some shot records. Raised with a family and other cats and a small dog but they are all gone now. I am hoping to find a similar setup for him. i.e. indoor/outdoor, quiet road, but with cats and or a small dog, and a family. Affectionate. Will cuddle, sleep on your lap, and in bed through the night. Comes with left over litter, racheal ray food, temptations, toys, carrier, and records. He likes drinking from faucets, doesn't need litter in nice weather but uses it if I don't let him out. He loves to knead. He will open lever hardware doors, I haven't taught him to shut them though. You need to lock your doors or have ordinary hardware or he will let himself out or in. His purr is quiet and his meow is not too "siamese loud" unless you ignore him too much. He is my 5th Siamese. Choosing a new home will be easier if you would kindly decribe how his life will be better than his current situation. Thanks!

Story
Victoria (Tori) is a beautiful Siamese (looks full blooded), playful youngster with a calm, sweet purrsonality, around 9-10 months old.  Born early May of 2024.  She only has 1 eye (it's blue), but hasn't let that get her down! She was found all alone on a rural roadway when she was only a few weeks old, her eyes completely crusted over so badly she couldn't even see - who would have abandoned a helpless baby like that?  This was caused by an upper respiratory infection that, if untreated, affects & can destroy the eyes - early medical care would have prevented it, but she didn't get any. We took her in to help her - her eyes were treated with medicines several times a day for several weeks; the right eye was saved but the other had abscessed and didn't respond to the medical care.  Eventually, her left eye had to be removed.  Then, the procedure didn't heal properly and she required a 2nd surgery. It appears to have healed well. She also has what may be a chronic upper respiratory breathing issue; compliments of her early lack of medical care.  Occasionally, she gets sneezy, and other times, her nose gets stopped up & she can’t breathe thru it—we use nose drops, nebulizer & steam treatments, and over-the-counter allergy medicines when needed to help her . She seems to be growing out of it as it's happened less frequently over the last few months; but its possible that it might be a persistent condition. ** She's looking for a quiet-ish indoor-only home without young children. **  No out of state/area applications, please. We want her to stay within the general Cincinnati area. Adoption fee (75.00) includes Spay or Neuter, vaccinations, combo-tested - negative for FeLV & FIV, and micro-chipped.  (Or double your fun with a 2nd kitty at discounted price - 2 for $125!) If interested in adopting, please fill out our application at  http://www.purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.    February 15, 2025, 12:44 pm

Story
Feline Leukemia PositiveWe are partnering with Tri-State Noah Project (TSNP) in an effort to help London find her forever home. This gorgeous girl was thrown outside in Kentucky when the only family she had ever known suspected that she might be pregnant. When we found out that she was on the streets, we wanted to bring her in and help her as quickly as possible. It was while she was out on the streets that she became infected with the feline leukemia virus. We know this because when she was first tested, it wasn't showing up. When she was tested again, she was positive. It doesn't stop her. London is a super sweet kitty that longs to be the only kitty in the house. She deserves to have a family committed to her. She takes a daily supplement that helps keep the virus at a minimum in her system which will most likely help her have a longer healthier life. London has a message for anyone considering opening up their heart and their home to her. I can't promise you that the life that I will live will be a long one but it is my hope whether it's a few months or many years that I will have the life that my heart longs for. I dream that I will one day know love like other 'healthy' cats do... that I will be able to play like a kid at Christmas time surrounded by lots of kitty toys... I want to enjoy every bite of my tasty food ...Oh that I can sit by a window, look out and see nature at its best... maybe even become friends with a squirrel, a chipmunk and possibly even a little tiny bird that peers in the window to look at ME...I have visions of being in a real home with lots of space that enables me to feel like I have my freedom instead of living life in one room with so many other cats that are infected with the same virus. My heart aches for my own human to touch my fur every single day as they love on me. Whispering lips saying 'I love you' just before kissing the top of my head. I want to know what it means to be cherished every minute of every day that I have. When my body decides it's time to take that journey out of this life and cross the 'Rainbow Bridge,' that my very special human will know that they gave me a GIFT of life that I could have never received without them. I trust they will not feel sorrow in my passing. but TREMENDOUS JOY in knowing that they were chosen to love me, but even more than that - I was chosen to love them during my time with them. London is fully vetted, microchipped, vaccinated, spayed, FeLV+/FIV- combo tested. Born @ mid-July 2023. TSNP's Adoption fee is $80. If interested, please fill out our application completely at http://purrfectfriendscatrescue.org/adoptform.html . February 20, 2025, 10:01 pm

Loras is a sweet and spunky boy! Our vet estimates him to be 2 years old. He’s quite playful and would benefit having a playmate around his age in the house. He’s sweet and very affectionate! Loras does need an understanding adopter, as he does have herpes flare ups when he is stressed out. Included with the adoption is the kitty's neuter, all current-due FVRCP, FeLeuk, and rabies vaccinations for kitties over 1-year, deworming, flea treatment, a wellness check, FIV/FeLV combo testing, and microchipping.
