He loves to sniff flowers and strawberries. He’s incredibly patient around young children, but prefers his space around rambunctious children. This majestic floof is Sam! He is around 13 years old and when he came to us from a shelter in Calvert County MD he was morbidly obese and could barely walk! With loving care and a good diet, Sam is happily moving around Siglinda's house and jumping up on her bed! Sam could still lose more weight and his adopter needs to understand that he needs good quality food and to be brushed daily to keep his gorgeous coat healthy! DOB: 12/30/2010

Story
My name is Sapphire and I`m an independent, curious little lady who loves attention! You`ll often find me perched up high, surveying my domain like the queen I am. But don`t worry, I`m more than happy to come down for some chin scratches and pets when the mood strikes. I do prefer to do my own thing and won`t hesitate to make a quick escape if I`m not in the mood for snuggles. Just give me a little space and I promise I`ll come back around when I`m ready for some quality time. If you`re looking for a feline companion who marches to the beat of her own drum, then I`m your girl! How did I get here? Surrendered when my owner could no longer care for me.~My adoption fee is $65.00.~
