Hi, I'm Alexis. I am a beautiful, playful, sweet, loving, and spoiled girl who does well with others. My start to this world was a bit rough. Let me share my story. I was rescued from a drainage ditch when I was a tiny kitten and had to be bottle-fed. Yes, I was so small that my eyes were not open. At about 3 months old, I began to scratch and lick my fur. The vet ran some tests but could not figure out what was causing my itchy skin. As a solution, I wore a sweater to keep me from scratching so much. Yep, I did and I was styling the fashion. Just call me a "Catanista". I wore it for some time as it kept me warm. Fast forward to today, I have been out of the sweater for about a year and have not had a problem. I do have some thin hair in places, but it does not take away from my overall beauty. I am now ready to find my forever family. I’m a super sweet kitty who’s all about calm, cozy vibes. After I’m given some space and time to settle in, get ready for some fun. Got a wand toy? I’ll go straight for the string every time. Plus, I can give high-fives, sit on command, and even shake paws. Pretty cool, right? Though I may start out a little shy, once I’ve mellowed, I like to come for chin and belly scratches. I’ve been around kids and once I get used to them, I’ll interact and am very gentle. My purr is a powerful sign of just how much love I have to share. She is siamese if you please - as are her sibs and mom (Jacob, Bella and mom Michi) but this little muffin got the siamese look. She knows she is pretty and is a confident little tomboy of a girl. Her favorite toy is her brother Jacob, followed by Cat wands. She's very curious and playful. She loves to sunbathe and is very inquisitive. She would love to be adopted with a family member but could be on her own as well. She is the most curious of her family and will keep you hopping as she investigates all the things. She would be a prime candidate for teaching tricks too and will need some stimulation from a pal or some interactive toys. This majestic floof is Sam! He is around 13 years old and when he came to us from a shelter in Calvert County MD he was morbidly obese and could barely walk! With loving care and a good diet, Sam is happily moving around Siglinda's house and jumping up on her bed! Sam could still lose more weight and his adopter needs to understand that he needs good quality food and to be brushed daily to keep his gorgeous coat healthy! DOB: 12/30/2010
