Story
Venus and her brothers, Jupiter, Mercury & Saturn were born outside to a mom that was semi-feral. A kind woman took them all in to keep them safe until the kittens were weaned, when they came into rescue. Venus is a laid back and quiet little girl. While she likes to play with her littermates, she is also happy going off somewhere by herself or just quietly hanging out with other kittens. She likes to play and sleep with her brothers and another litter of 4 kittens that are now her adopted littermates. Venus is litterbox trained. There are dogs in her foster home, and she is OK with them when they are calm. Venus’s DOB is 4/26/24 She is a black & white cow DSH. She is a petite little girl. **Adoption fee of $50 includes 1st shots, vet visits, and deworming. An additional $35 will be added to the fee if adopter wants FIV/FeLV testing.** If interested, please fill out an Adoption Application: https://mercyrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Anna is a spayed female, most unusual looking, somewhat Siamese mix looking, very strikingly beautiful kitty, born on June 22, 2024! She is full of personality and loves to be held and cuddled by her people. Anna had a bad infection in her left eye and had to live at the vet clinic to be treated. Remarkably, and with much veterinary persistence, her eye was saved, but it is a little smaller than her other eye. Both eyes are smaller than the eyes of most cats. This does not in the least hinder Anna! Notice the usual markings on the tops of her ears. She is just waiting now for the perfect home! The adoption fee is $200. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.November 8, 2024, 8:59 am

Story
Meet Finn! Finn is a very handsome siamese cat who loves to birdwatch and climb around on his cat tower and other high surfaces. Finn does well with most cats, but is unfortunately declawed on his front paws, so the other cats must be able to be gentle with him. Due to his declawing, Finn requires special cedar litter. He CANNOT use standard clay litter as it will damage his front paws. Finn is not recommended for a home with dogs due to his inability to scratch or defend himself from them if he feels cornered or anxious. As a Siamese, be aware that Finn does play nibble. Finn is very entertaining and silly and likes to lounge around with his humans. Estimated birthdate: September 2019 If you are interested in setting up a meet n greet with Finn please call 828-885-3647 Notes: *We are by Appointment ONLY* Adoption Fee: 100.00 *Adoption Process* -LandLord approval -Vet Reference -Home Visit *Must be 21+ to adopt*

Meet Whisper! Whisper is a beautiful gal who takes a little time to warm up, but once she does she is as sweet as can be. As a Siamese, she does play bite, so be aware. Estimated birthdate: October 2020 If you would like to schedule an appointment for Whisper please call 828-885-3647. Story
Beautiful Boy Needs Loving Home! This little guy showed up at our place just before Helene hit. He is an adult male of unknown age, not spayed, no chip. He desperately wants to come inside. Unfortunately, we are already caring for a feral colony and have indoor cats as well. He is the most loving and affectionate stray I've ever met and follows me around the yard as I do my gardening. Loves to be carried and held! It breaks my heart to not be able to keep him, but have my hands full. Will be particular about his new home, and will insist he gets fixed. He will need to be indoors or at the least indoor/outdoor. I do NOT want to put him in the shelter, so I am desperate to find him a new home! I'm located 5 minutes from the Ingles on 64 and Etowah School Road.
