Story
Meet Theia! Theia, and her brother Crius, joined Juliet’s House at only hours old via a local shelter. They were found in a car headed for demolition with no momma cat in sight. Theia and Crius were bottle raised therefore are very human social. Theia was solid white when she arrived but her subtle orange hues started coming out as she grew. As common with Flame Point Siamese, her orange coloring will continue to darken as she gets older. As you may have notice, she does have the a common Siamese characteristics of being slightly cross-eyed. We have not noticed any visual impairment with her cute quirk. She is a super sweet girl who loves to play! She loves tunnels, toys and especially her brother! This bonded pair are looking for their forever home together. Want to see more on Theia? Check out their foster moms Instagram @kitten_coop (under stories Titans). Given their personality, we believe they would do well with other cats, older children, and cat-friendly dogs if allowed time for an introduction. The adoption fee includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, and vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our adoption page for more information on our adoption process and to complete our adoption application. https://www.julietshouse.org/online-adoption-applications Please note: These kitten will only be adopted in a pair with their sibling. This policy ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development. Birthday: 6/20/2024

Story
Maddox is about 9 years old, and was living with his little cat friend in a house in Kentucky. They moved to South Carolina, in a house that now has 4 dogs, including an Australian shepherd. The dogs wouldn't leave the cats alone so they came to live with us. Maddox is a big boy - 12.9 lbs - and wants to be the head cat. He craves love, scratches, and food. He is kind of shy, but really wants to be part of the human family. He has a loud wonderful purr. However, he also wants to take over the head cat position from our Grandma cat; and he stalks her. After 6 months, he still will not leave her to herself.

Story
NALA is beautiful on the outside but temperamental on the inside. Surrendered to the SCHS because she was combative with the other cat in the home, she is playful but will dictate when she wants what. She's definitely made progress at the SCHS, even wanting attention. Then, out of nowhere, she'll pop you to let you know she's done. She must go to an experienced cat owner and be an only cat. The standard adoption fee is $100 cash or $105 debit/credit. This includes feline testing, vaccines, spaying/neutering, micro-chipping and de-worming. You may complete an application to start the adoption process at www.stanlycountyhumanesociety.org, under the 'Adoption' tab. Like us on facebook at Stanly County Humane Society Cats. Thanks for considering adopting a rescue pet! Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip  November 2, 2024, 11:16 pm

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Noelle was rescued from a local business around Christmas 2022.  She was diagnosed with allergies and is currently taking an allergy pill every day.  She takes her meds well in a pill pocket mixed with her canned food.  She enjoys petting and rubbing her foster parents legs, but she does not get along with other cats.  She  does tolerate her sister Holly.  Noelle is a tortie-point Siamese with prominent tortie points.  She would probably be best in a home without small children or dogs. ##1605326##

Story
Beautiful Celeste has come a long way and has begun to trust us humans. She has made great progress.  She will be most happy in a home where she is treated gently,  by a family who understands cats. We recommend an adult only home. She gets along with other kittes and she and her brother, Simon, another lynxpoint, would be great together or as single pets. Celeste is a Lynxpoint cat.Tabby with lilac.  She has beautiful blue eyes and a short coat..  She is spayed, utd on vaccs and tested. Microchipped too.  She will do best if adopted by an experienced cat owner.  One who feels they are the cat whisperer.. Celeste is still learning to trust us but has made huge progress!!!! She is currently is  in a condo in our cat room  which allows us to pet her But once out of the cat room, it's  catch me if you can. Celeste has quite a bit of taming to do.  She still acts skittish with feral tendencies as she was not appropriately domesticated from the start. If a cat lover is willing to invest in the life of Celeste, a gorgeous cat who might  blossum in a home that  can give her time and be patient with her but accept her where she lands., we need to know.. ##1834390##
