Story
She was rescued alongside her sister from an unstable living situation, and the two have formed a very strong bond. Because of this, I’m looking for a home that is willing to adopt them together so they can continue to thrive side by side. She has a slightly more sensitive and anxious personality than her sister, but she is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate once she feels comfortable. She loves to cuddle and enjoys playtime, especially when she can share it with her sister. She does have feline cystitis and requires a special diet (until she’s two!) to keep her healthy. Since starting her on this diet, she has been doing very well with no ongoing medical issues. Her future adopter should be committed to maintaining this diet until she’s two and providing routine veterinary care as needed. She would do best in a patient, loving home that understands her softer nature and can give both her and her sister the stability and care they deserve.*Must be adopted with her sister Piper

Story
I rescued her and her sister from an unstable living situation, and she has come a long way in a loving foster environment. She’s still young and full of life, with a big personality that shines through every day. I’m looking for a home that can keep up with her high energy and give her plenty of playtime, attention, and enrichment. She would do best with someone who is committed to providing regular veterinary care and is ready to take on the responsibilities of owning a pet. An adopter with a lifestyle that allows them to spend quality time with her would be ideal. She is an affectionate, playful, and spirited cat. She’s very vocal and loves to “chat,” enjoys playing fetch, and thrives on interaction. She’s also incredibly cuddly and sweet, forming strong bonds with her people. *Must be adopted with her sister Poppy

I am very shy and need a cat savvy adopter and a home with another cat. I am not a lap cat. Apply to adopt via www.sparklecatrescue.org/adopt  Queenie is still shy.  She is OK with walking around when we are in the room, but she won't let me pet her unless it is right before I feed her canned food.  She won't sit next to anyone.  She's very independent.  ##2180016##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This cat is not in the CARE foster system. She is listed as a courtesy and CARE is not responsible for any problems with the animal or with the adoption process. This sweet and talkative young momma is looking for her forever home. Duchess is believed to be around three years old. She is a very special girl. She is an extremely loving Flame Point Siamese. Unfortunately, she found herself displaced in a neighborhood while trying to fend for herself and her two small kittens recently. A lady there was nice enough to place food outside for her until she found help.    Duchess has now been spayed, vaccinated, treated for parasites and she has also had her 1yr rabies vaccine. She seems to be okay with other cats as long as they are friendly to her. Please reach out if you would like to meet her. Adoption fees do apply.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 3:23 pm

Story
I have a beautiful cat 5 years old and spayed in the Greensboro area who needs a loving peaceful home. She is strictly indoor and not used to little kids or more than one cat. She is gentle and loves to cuddle and doesn’t bite or scratch. I would prefer someone who has had a cat before or been around cats. She does have anxiety and is on Prozac .5 tablet daily. Prozac is cheap as I get it with a GoodRx coupon. I would like to meet with the person that is interested just to see if coco would be a good fit for the family she is going to be with. Coco is my world and I wouldn’t give her up if I absolutely didn’t have to!

Story
Seal Point Tuxamese or Snowshoe? A meanie or a softie? Samuel L. Snackson pretends he is a professional tough guy…but is an absolute fraud. When this big fella first rolled in, he was doing his best “don’t even LOOK at me” feral tomcat impression. We’re talking corner-cowering, airplane ears deployed, dramatic hissing, the whole Oscar-worthy performance. Very intimidating. Very serious. Very big bad street king energy with the scuffed up nose to prove it. And then… we introduced exactly two Churus. Add a few sweet-talking compliments about his ridiculously handsome cheeks and those baby-blue eyes, and folks…the man folded like a lawn chair. Suddenly the tough guy routine melted away and revealed Samuel’s true identity: a chatty, confident, sociable lover boy who would actually prefer you keep the compliments and snacks coming, thank you very much. Now that we’ve cracked the code, Samuel L. Snackson spends his days talking, flirting, supervising snack distribution, and generally being a big affectionate sloth. He may have started his career as a grumbly “feral” menace, but it turns out he was just waiting for the right audience to admire his face and supply adequate tube treats. If you’re looking for a big personality, big cheeks, big blue eyes, and a burning desire for grub, Samuel L. Snackson is ready to take his starring role in your home. (Warning: may attempt to convince you he has never been fed in his life. This is a lie.) This 3 year-old, cheeky, lover needs a foster or forever home.
