Coco Chanel is a sweet, loving cat. She is 4 years old. Coco came from a breeder in NC. Coco is docile and loves to be petted. Coco needs a lot of attention, due to anxiety and mildly developmentally impaired. She needs help grooming herself. She has started having some issues using litter box. She knows how to use the litter box, but sometimes has accidents outside of litter box. Coco should remain indoors, she becomes scared when alone outside. Coco needs a nice, loving home, with someone who will help her.

I’m a super sweet kitty who’s all about calm, cozy vibes. After I’m given some space and time to settle in, get ready for some fun. Got a wand toy? I’ll go straight for the string every time. Plus, I can give high-fives, sit on command, and even shake paws. Pretty cool, right? Though I may start out a little shy, once I’ve mellowed, I like to come for chin and belly scratches. I’ve been around kids and once I get used to them, I’ll interact and am very gentle. My purr is a powerful sign of just how much love I have to share. This majestic floof is Sam! He is around 13 years old and when he came to us from a shelter in Calvert County MD he was morbidly obese and could barely walk! With loving care and a good diet, Sam is happily moving around Siglinda's house and jumping up on her bed! Sam could still lose more weight and his adopter needs to understand that he needs good quality food and to be brushed daily to keep his gorgeous coat healthy! DOB: 12/30/2010

They have lived in an eclosed area (a large shed with an enclosed outdoor area) for most of their life but have been very loved and well cared for by an older couple. One of the owners has recently died and the current owner can no longer care for them due to his age. We are trying to assist with this courtesy posting to help these cats find their forever loving homes where they can live out the rest of their lives.  When we met the cats, the cats were- for the most part- outgoing and friendly. Lightning and Lil'Bit were a bit stressed with new people in their enclosure and took longer to warm up but the current owner said they are very sweet. We believe with patience and a good home with appropriate social interaction these cats will thrive. Precious, the Siamese mix, would do best as an only kitty given she is often picked on by the other cats. It would be wonderful if the remaining four could be matched as pairs given they have all grown up together.  They have recently had a health visit and have been updated on their vaccines. Nyx is a true companion, always ready to snuggle up and share his warmth and love. He’s known for his boundless curiosity and playful nature. His jumps during playtime are legendary! Despite his confident leaps, Nyx has a tender, cautious side. His moments of surprise are as cute as they are quick, leaving you smiling every time. Whether it’s a door opening abruptly or a bid for attention, his bursts of energy and skittishness result in a sliding, bounding, and goofily entertaining kitty. True to the Siamese reputation, Nyx is incredibly intelligent, vocal and needs lots of attention. He loves to have conversations and will make sure you know when he needs attention or has something important to say. He will be your shadow cat as he is friendly and gentle, wanting your touch, kisses, and cuddles. He will paw for your pets and understands to be gentle with his claws when pulling your hand to his head. He loves to play, enjoys puzzle toys and enrichment along with lick mats and food enrichment as well. He has no problem curling up on your lap, in bed, or anywhere else you let him once he's gotten his energy out. Nyx would thrive best in a house where he gets a lot of attention. We also believe he would do great with mature kids above the toddler age and be a wonderful family cat. Our dream for Nyx would be a prior Siamese owner who understands his Siamese ways and knows there is much more to him than just his gorgeous looks. He has specific needs due to his breed and past upbringing. He needs someone who will love him for the cat he is and his big loving personality. Nyx is exploring and learning about life all over from the beginning due to his restricted life in his prior home.
