Story
what we think is a lynxpoint Siamese neutered male cat about 1 yrs old. Bob was rescued as a stray and received emergency surgery for a ruptured bladder. Now that he's fully recovered, Bob wants to find a home of his own. Bob has a strong personality and is super high energy. Bob loves to play fetch, do zoomies, climb his tall scratching post, and look out windows. While Bob is also a snuggler and loves to cuddle, he is very mischievous and cheeky. Since Bob can be a bit bossy, he needs an experienced cat person. Please reach out if interested in Bob. Catsssistanceny@gmail.com 914-419-2574

Story
Meet the Ewok litter! Wicket, Winda, Paploo and Logray are healthy, social, super playful siblings. They adore each other and enjoy interacting with people. Their mom was rescued in the Bronx in early September 2024 and just days later gave birth in their foster home. Energetic and curious about everything, they are eager climbers who would jump from an X-wing fighter onto a landspeeder if given the chance. Logray and Paploo need to be adopted together, and Wicket and Winda are paired. Wicket (black male) is silly and so sweet. He is not the smartest in the group but is the cuddliest. Paploo (tabby male) is curious and fearless. He often seems to be thinking "I wonder what happens if...." Winda (siamese mix female) is likely the alpha of the litter. Clever and adventurous, she has a plan and wants you to join in. Logray (siamese mix male) is usually the first to figure stuff out. He is as smart as his sister and equally sweet.

Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Whole Grain Granola is the sweetest little lady I’ve had the pleasure to foster! She will sit near you and on you as much as you allow her, as my roommate likes to call her, she’s a velcro cat. She just wants to be near you and snuggling! She loves having her chin scratched and gentle pets on her body. She loves pate because she only has two or three little teeth. She has never bitten me or my roommate because she’s too sweet. She would love a forever home with a family who loves to cuddle and nuzzle her face all the time. She’s not a needy kitty, she’s just insanely loving. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home. This cat is FIV+ and will live a normal healthy and long life when provided with quality care such as a balanced diet and yearly wellness exams (like any cat). As FIV+ is not transmittable between neutered/spayed cats under normal circumstances, we are happy for FIV+ cats to mingle with FIV- cats in their adoptive homes. This cat has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and would benefit from an echocardiogram -- we would appreciate it if their potential adopter could help us cover this cost in lieu of an adoption donation.November 5, 2024, 3:41 pm

Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Blu Sully’s Pretty Friend aka Mike Wazowski We found Mike on the street crying for help and immediately recognized how affectionate and sweet this little dude is. He is full of energy and loves people! All he wants is to play with a wand toy, receive endless pets, and lots of treats. He even likes to be held and snuggle (until he gets bored and wants to play again) He is also doing well with our resident cat (Sully) and would likely do well with another young cat that is confident and playful (he can play a bit rough at times). Mike is a sweetheart and would love a dedicated parent that can redirect his bountiful energy and give him tons of attention as he grows. Although he can be shy at first, don't let him fool you he LOVES human affection and with just a month indoors he’s turning out to be a loving house cat.  This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.  November 5, 2024, 3:41 pm
