Story
This new friend has just arrived! They have come to us either as a transfer from another shelter, being found as a stray, or have been surrendered to us by their owner. When our friends are new to us, we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, comfort with handling, or experience with other pets or children. Our staff will spend some time reviewing any information provided by previous owners and spend some time with our new friend so that we can better update their biography. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
This kitten has just arrived! They have come to us on transport from a shelter partner, were found as stray, or surrendered to our care. When kittens arrive to us we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, how they are with handling, or how much socialization with humans/animals they have received. Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Exposing your kitten to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, and animals can ensure a well-socialized adult cat. Remember, kittens aren't born knowing how to live in a human's world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future. Her life was turned upside down when her owner suddenly became ill and could no longer take care of her. Before entering our care, Pixie Dust developed vision impairment and after being looked over by our amazing medical care team, it was determined that she had become blind.  Although Pixie Dust's vision is impaired, she is looking forward to a bright future in a new loving and caring home where she can spend the rest of her golden years! Story
Frank is a handsome Siamese/tabby mix.  Frank brings the elegance of a Siamese with his beautiful gray-and-white coat and piercing blue eyes. His sweet personality shines through as he eagerly greets you with enthusiasm, making it hard not to smile when he’s around. With his attentive gaze and sleek Siamese features, he’s not only a joy to look at but also a devoted companion. Frank’s friendly demeanor and excitement to see you make him a natural fit for a warm and loving home. If you’re ready for a chatty, affectionate friend, Frank is your guy. While we do not know for sure, Frank may be 7-8 years old.   Also, you can see Frank's beautiful eyes and tabby face and paws.  Look closely at the color of his fur on his back.   Frank is now in one of our free-roaming cat rooms and is meeting lots of new friends but would love to be in a home environment.  Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Trainer) November 12, 2024, 4:32 pm
