Story
We received Taters from a friend when he was 6 weeks old. He just turned 2 years old in August. He is a Siamese mix. He mostly keeps to himself, although he does like to be pet in the morning and in the evening. If done correctly, he will allow you to hold him but he is not much of a cuddler. He was raised with our Shih Tzu but I do not think he would do well with other animals. He does well with our kids but I am not sure how he would do with other kids. When we have guests, he hangs out in the corner on his bed and does not socialize so it will take time for him to warm up to you. He is neutered, chipped, and declawed. He has a cat tower, automatic feeder, automatic litter box, and regular litter box that we will send with him. He likes Rachel Ray cat food. He is a big boy, weighing in at 15 pounds. He is also a little cross eyed. He currently stays in the house, and in the garage, but he would love to be able to live somewhere where he could go outside and play.

Story
Solstice is an amazing and beautiful kitten! She is very affectionate and playful. Solstice tested positive for feline leukemia on intake to Helping Strays. While she is healthy today, it is impossible to know how much time she has before her quality of life could be affected. It could be months or years. Regardless of how much quality time she has, we think she deserves a loving home. If you think you might be the person to give her that home, please contact Helping Strays. Solstice needs to be an only cat or go to a home with another feline leukemia positive cat. Feline leukemia is not transmissible to dogs or humans. Here is a link to a feline leukemia fact sheet from Tree House Humane Society that may be helpful (you'll need to copy and paste)https://treehouseanimals.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/FeLV-Fact-Sheet-Public-1.pdf If you don't have another cat, or if you have a feline leukemia positive cat, and would like to meet her, we would love to talk with you.Solstice is nine months old.Location: Foster homeSoltice's adoption fee is $100. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. Please submit an application if you are interested in adopting. www.helpingstrays.org

Story
Gibson…named after Mel…because of his blue eyes he is looking for his forever home! He’s about 13-14 weeks old. He’s a little shy at first, but as soon as you pick him up, he purrs like crazy! He loves to play with other kitties and is fine with the resident dog. He would thrive better in a home without little kiddos.September 6, 2024, 2:53 pm

Story
Viola came into rescue with her brothers and sister, Hamlet, Macbeth and Viola, at only four weeks of age. We were stunned by how social they all were from the very beginning, even after losing their mom tragically. Viola has acted as the spokesperson for the group, never being afraid to share what’s on her mind. She purrs when you pick her up and enjoys a good lap. Viola is looking for a home with her sister, Juliet since they can often be found playing and cuddling together.
