Story
Wendy and Casper are a one-year-old mom and three-month-old kitten pair looking for their forever home together!Wendy is a sweet one-year-old female who is learning how to accept love and enjoy a life of play and relaxation. She had a rough first year of life before making her way to Pet Haven. Understandably, she’s needed to take her time decompressing and coming out of her shell as she learns to trust, but she has come so far in the short time she’s been in foster care. She loves to take naps with Casper, be curious about new things (when she’s feeling comfortable), play with her toys, get pets and chin scratches, and wrestle with Casper!Casper is a three-month-old kitten with a very big personality! He loves his mama with all his heart, and will be so happy to get to stay with her forever. Casper is known for his loud, opinionated voice, goofy hops, and hilarious zoomies. He does everything at 150%. When he’s playing, he’s playing as hard as he can, and when he’s sleeping, he’s out cold. He truly is the personality of the house, so his forever family should be ready for some new excitement in their life!Because of Wendy’s background, Wendy and Casper are looking for a home with no young children (ages 10+ please) and no other pets. Wendy will thrive with humans who are patient in understanding her origin story. She is truly such a sweetheart and would never hurt a fly, but needs time to rewire the instinctual fear that kept her alive. Both Wendy and Casper would love lots of toys and some cat trees to climb! They are very good at entertaining themselves with toys, but will also need a couple of daily play sessions with their people too!Wendy and Casper are on the hunt for their perfect forever home now, and will be ready to go home after spay/neuter surgery in late November. They are such a special pair with a special story. If you’d like to be part of this incredible success story and love these two forever, please apply to learn more! There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.----Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Story
Looking for a friendly, affectionate guy, then Zeus is your guy. This young male is estimated to be between 1.5 to 2 years of age. He is a flame point Siamese mix. He is easy-going, confident, and quiet until meal time when he tells you to hurry up with the food. Zeus reaches up requesting to be picked up and held and will rub against your face. He ankle rubs and quickly purrs with known people or strangers he likes. Zeus hops into your lap and stays as long as you keep brushing or petting. He likes to watch the world go by at the window and will play a little with wand toys if there are no competitors. After proper introductions he gets along with most cats, hasn’t met kids, but should do fine with them. He is friendly with some strangers and initially shy with others. Zeus uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits. Foster pals are available. Siamese adoption fees range from $250-$275. plus sales tax. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*
