Story
Stevie showed up outside a families home and for a year, they have been feeding him. He's partially blind and really needs to come inside and be safe in a home. We just found out about him, we are getting him fixed but we need a home for him or a foster to help us get him off the streets. If you can help or have interest to adopt him, he's sweet, friendly and we don't know why he's still outside if they have known about him for so long. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Leo is a very sweet three year old indoor cat. He likes dogs and other cats but is extremely anxious around people. He wants chin and head scratches, especially at night, but does not like to be picked up. He was born to a feral cat mother. He and his sister were raised with an elderly cat and three foster kittens. Around the age of 8 months, he started acting scared of people. Leo is overweight and needs a conscientious adopter. He eats several meals a day if food remains in his bowl. He should join a family who can give him 1/2 cup per day, or the amount listed in his food instructions. With different age cats in the house, including a senior cat who needs to free-feed, it is difficult to measure Leo’s food intake. Leo will come with a pet carrier.

Story
Meet Ivy and Willow, two young felines with hearts as big as their playful spirits. These pretty ladies are just under a year. Ivy has the darker facial markings and Willow has a bit of orange on her coat. These sweet, friendly kittens are inseparable, their bond forged in the great outdoors where they were found. They can frequently be found playing or cuddling up for a nap with each other. They are a little shy, but their loyalty knows no bounds. They were very close with their owner who passed away. They can be hesitate around males. Once these girls feel comfortable with their surroundings they are incredibly sweet. Ivy and Willow adore treats, their eyes lighting up at the crinkle of a treat bag. They also enjoy the company of other cats, making them perfect for a home with existing feline friends. Ivy and Willow are waiting to share their love and loyalty with a forever family. By adopting them, you're gaining two friends who will make your life richer with their playful antics and sweet purrs. Ivy and Willow are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org. Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Opal, he is a 4-year-old pure white Siamese with beautiful bright blue eyes (potentially a Foreign White Siamese), that has a birthday coming up on August 7th!!! Opal is a stunning boy with creamy white fur and pink ears. He is a serious boy, incredibly loyal, loving, sweet and loves kisses and pets from his humans. He loves following his foster parent around the house and always wants to be lounging nearby. Did I mention he loves attention? He’s not much of a lap cat, but he does like to snuggle nearby (or sometimes on top of), his foster parent during the night. He will capture your heart with his loud purrs anytime he’s petted or groomed, and he makes adorable chirpy sounding meows when he wants attention. Opal is in good health and has great litter box habits. Opal is an owner surrender due to no longer being able to provide for him. It’s breaking his human’s heart, but she wants to do what is best for Opal so he will be happy and thrive in his forever home. Opal needs to be the king of his castle. He has 2 sisters in the home, and is very aggressive with them, so he must be the only pet. If you have room in your home and heart for this handsome boy, and you want to celebrate his 5th birthday with him, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Opal is $200. He is located in a foster home in Ann Arbor Michigan.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information.
