Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Opal, he is a 4-year-old pure white Siamese with beautiful bright blue eyes (potentially a Foreign White Siamese), that has a birthday coming up on August 7th!!! Opal is a stunning boy with creamy white fur and pink ears. He is a serious boy, incredibly loyal, loving, sweet and loves kisses and pets from his humans. He loves following his foster parent around the house and always wants to be lounging nearby. Did I mention he loves attention? He’s not much of a lap cat, but he does like to snuggle nearby (or sometimes on top of), his foster parent during the night. He will capture your heart with his loud purrs anytime he’s petted or groomed, and he makes adorable chirpy sounding meows when he wants attention. Opal is in good health and has great litter box habits. Opal is an owner surrender due to no longer being able to provide for him. It’s breaking his human’s heart, but she wants to do what is best for Opal so he will be happy and thrive in his forever home. Opal needs to be the king of his castle. He has 2 sisters in the home, and is very aggressive with them, so he must be the only pet. If you have room in your home and heart for this handsome boy, and you want to celebrate his 5th birthday with him, please complete an application today. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Opal is $200. He is located in a foster home in Ann Arbor Michigan.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Moo Goo is a beautiful male, Siamese Seal Point, born on 08/29/23. He is very much a “night owl.”  He is not loud or rowdy, but nighttime is when he comes out and wants attention and to be petted.  Moo Goo is a bit shy and hides a lot. Foster dad won’t see him until he gets into bed and then, Moo Goo visits foster dad for a session of petting and back scratching. He purrs a lot while enjoying attention from his foster dad. Moo Goo gets along with the other cats. He gets a little squirmy when getting his nails trimmed but he really does not “fight” the nail trimming. Foster dad wishes Moo Goo would eat more canned food but maybe he will gradually enjoy it more as time goes on. Hopefully, the longer Moo Goo stays here, the more he will get comfortable and come out of hiding more. He really does seem to enjoy human contact and we are hoping he will build up his courage as he becomes more comfortable. All MISR cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, current on rabies and distemper and all known health issues.  The adoption fee for Moo Goo is $200 and he is in a foster home in Novi MI.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Please inquire about this kitty on our official website:  http://mi-siamese-rescue.rescuegroups.org Our adoption policies and online form are located here: Adoption Information. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Kyo is an 11-year-old, DOB 2/2/2013, Flame Pointe Siamese Mix kitty who has enjoyed living with his best friend in his new home after finding the right fit in February. Sadly, Kyo’s new owner has declining health issues that no longer allow him to care for Kyo.    Mr. Kyo is courageous and outgoing. He is very much like a dog- follows you everywhere, loves to walk on a leash, and is very attentive. Because Kyo originally came from a home with another cat bullying him, he will need to go to a home as an only cat. He does well with small to medium sized dogs that have been confirmed NON-aggressive towards cats.  He is an affectionate cat who loves to be around people. He is a typical talkative Siamese who loves cuddles and attention. He loves to be part of your daily routine and chat. He’s an extremely loyal cat who just wants to be with his person always. He loves to play with toys, especially wand toys. More than anything, he just wants your time and a lap to cuddle on. Mr. Kyo will let you know when you have pushed his boundaries by taking a swipe as a warning- typically due to over play or petting where/when he doesn’t want to be pet. He will be an excellent companion for just the right person, and you will never feel lonely with him. The perfect home for Kyo enjoys a confident pet that stays close by and enjoys being part of your day through inclusion and conversation. Kyo marches to his own drum, but his unique fun-loving personality is one of kind and a true treasure in a companion.  Kyo eats wet food only, preferably fancy feast. His belongings will be provided to create an easy transition to his new home. All MISR cats are neutered or spayed, current on rabies and distemper, have tested negative for FIV/FELV and all known health issues have been addressed. The adoption fee for Kyo is $200.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
