Siamese kittens & cats in Laurel, Maryland

Salix is a very special flame point Siamese mix with beautiful blue eyes, one of which has a scar from a corneal ulcer. Salix is the botanical name for pussy willow and they are very willow like in look and movement - sleek and graceful and full of love to give. Salix and siblings got off to a bad start. Their mom was a gentle girl who was on her own but being fed by a kind man who cared for the little family. However,  he was at a loss when they became sick with an upper respiratory and eye infections. By the time he found Sunshine's Friends and brought them to us the kittens really needed help. With proper treatment and good nutrition Salix and siblings bounced back pretty quickly but a few of the kittens had damage to their cornea. The family of kittens has been to our vet and all have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated and given a clean bill of health. Salix and brothers are now ready to go to their forever homes and bring happiness to the lucky people who adopt them. ##2087648##

Oliver is a handsome flame point Siamese. Flame Points are known for being sweet and mellow cats, and Oliver is living up to that reputation. He loves to be pet, rolls over when he sees you and starts to purr. His fur is thick, plush and soft. He is a very easy-going cat, not super demanding, and wants to be with his people. Oliver is confident, with no aggression or meanness in him. Unlike most Siamese he is not super talkative (yet). He does meow when he sees his foster mom and runs up to her for lots of pets. Oliver has been tested with other cats and dogs and does really well. He was super easy to bathe and nail clip. Nothing much seems to phase this guy. Oliver is healthy, current on his vaccines, neutered, using his litter box as he should and has a good appetite for wet food, not as interested in dry. Rosie (Rosalita) and Leo (Leonardo) are a brother and sister bonded pair originally from the naval base in Guantanamo Bay Cuba. They have the craziest backstory and biggest personalities to go with it. Rosie - a real cats cat. Skittish but will cozy up to you immediately for treats and food Leo - snuggly, silly, Velcro cat who loves to be right by your side They are very attached and I could never imagine separating them. I’ve had them for seven years and am moving but unfortunately can’t take them with me. I want to find them the very best home, they are very special and loved cats.

Shelli is a quiet 8 month old kitty who is seeking her forever family. She takes a little while to warm up to new people and doesn't like a lot of hustle and bustle. A calm home environment would be best with teens or adults. She likes to lounge on a couch or cat tree and likes to watch out of the windows. She gets along with the other cats and kittens in her foster home. She would be fine as an only kitty if someone is home most of the time or with other cats. Shelli would probably be fine with dogs as long as they are calm and respectful of cats.
