Story
Little Barnes is a spayed female Siamese mix, born on 3/21/2018. She has some of the coloration and characteristics of a seal point Siamese mix. Little has had to leave her home because her owner had to leave. She is very shy right now, being in a strange place. She clings to her mother whose name is Mom! We are hoping we can find a home for the two of them together! Indoor cat only! The adoption fee is $25. This covers the cost of spay/neuter, PVR, Rabies, flea, tick, ear mite and worm treatment. To adopt, you need to first fill out an application. Go to: https://rutherfordcountyhumanesociety.org/cat-adoption-application/ We are located in Western North Carolina. Optional transport is weekly.  After your application is approved, we will contact you regarding cost and delivery if you so desire.July 28, 2025, 8:20 am

Story
Meet Blorp, a stunning Siamese beauty who is ready to be spoiled exactly as her breed deserves! Sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully talkative, Blorp has a personality that will charm anyone she meets. She came to us from a feral colony through our TNR program, but it quickly became clear she was far too sweet and striking to return.Blorp is looking for a soft, warm place to call her own, where she can relax, be adored, and share her love in her own gentle way. She gets along well with other cats—especially those who give her space and companionship without being overly pushy—so she can enjoy a calm, harmonious home with a feline friend by her side.Elegant, loving, and full of character, Blorp is ready to find her forever family who will appreciate her beauty, her voice, and her heart.Blorp's adoption fee is $100, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! Story
I took in Artemis as a kitten when he magically appeared on the steps in my apartment complex. That was a little over 2 years ago. Artemis is very loving and affectionate. He interacts as if he believes he’s human himself & when he loves he loves hard. Artemis is very attached to me so he will need to be welcomed into a loving & patient home as he will need time to adjust. Artemis is not fixed & has not ever been to a vet as he is terrified of the outside & being transported. He is however very healthy, I have never had any issues with him. As times have drastically changed within recent years I find myself busier than usual & no longer have the time to properly care for him. He does deserve someone who can provide that extra TLC he requires. If that’s you, please contact me.
