Story
Hi, I’m Zuka I’m a dreamy little Siamese gentleman with the most mesmerizing blue eyes you’ve ever seen (seriously… people get lost in them all the time). But don’t worry—I’ll gently bring you back to reality with a soft nuzzle and a whole lot of love.I’m what you might call professionally affectionate. If you sit down, I’m in your lap. If you stand up, I’m weaving between your legs. If you pick me up? Oh… that’s my favorite place in the whole world. I’ll melt right into your arms like I was made to be there, because honestly, I think I was.I love to rub up against you just to remind you that you’re mine (and I’m yours). I’m the kind of cat who wants to be involved in everything you’re doing—your shadow, your cuddle buddy, your little best friend all rolled into one.If you’re looking for a cat who will love you endlessly, follow you everywhere, and never say no to being held, I think we might be perfect for each other.Come scoop me up—I promise I won’t want to leave your arms!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. Story
***Due to the overwhelming demand for Potato Chip's breed, his adoption fee is $350. The higher adoption fee helps provide veterinary care for other animals in our organization.***Hi, I’m Potato Chip! I’m a long-haired Siamese boy with the most striking, piercing blue eyes you’ve ever seen—people always tell me I look like I know a few secrets, and honestly… I might.I’m a big fan of affection when I’m feeling comfortable. If you give me gentle pets, I’ll lean right in and happily return them with soft head bumps like I’m saying, “yes, you’re my person.” Those are my favorite moments—quiet, cozy connection with someone I trust.I do need someone patient with me, though. I like things on my terms sometimes, and I’m still learning to feel fully secure in my space and with new people. I’ll do best with someone who understands that I need a little time, a little respect for my boundaries, and a gentle approach as I settle in.Because I’m declawed, I don’t have my full natural defenses anymore, so I rely even more on trust and feeling safe. When I know I’m safe, I truly blossom into a sweet, loving companion who enjoys closeness and calm companionship. If you’re someone kind, patient, and willing to let me come to you at my own pace, I think we could build something really special together.________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. Story
Hi, I’m Amelia! I’m a sweet little calico girl with a heart just as warm as my cozy favorite spot…your lap. If you sit down, just know I’ll be there in seconds, gently climbing up and settling in like I’ve always belonged there (because, honestly, I think I do).I absolutely love being close to my people. Soft pets, quiet moments, and feeling safe and snuggled up are my favorite things in the whole world. I’m the kind of girl who will keep you company through movie nights, reading time, or just a long day when you need a little extra comfort.I have a gentle soul and so much love to give—I just need someone who’s ready for a loyal little lap companion who will adore you endlessly. All I want is a warm lap, a loving home, and a forever person to call mine!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved.
